IIM Ahmedabad in 2008 was the first management school in India to be awarded with EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation by the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development). It is the pioneer of Management schools in India.
IIM Shillong is following IIM Ahmedabad’s footsteps. It is presently operating from a temporary campus in Mayurbhanj complex. The building is in progress in the permanent campus area.
