You’ll get an admission at KIIT. You don’t need to worry on that front. But the main issue is regarding placements. Most IT and core companies have an eligibility requirement of 60% or more in 10th and 12th boards. Though some companies don’t have a strict minimum requirement.
But the point is, if you want to sit for a good number of companies during placements, you’ll need at least 60% in your 12th boards. This does not apply only to KIIT, but every university/college.
In case you have secured less than 60% in the higher secondary examination, then it is best to sit for the Improvement examination.
If you even secure admission at KIIT or any other relevant institute for a course, it will ultimately go in vain if you become ineligible to sit for any company exam. Around 90% of the on-campus companies arrive with a specific cut-off where the minimum criteria set is 60% in 10+2.
So, taking an improvement examination is the better option.
