KIIT Placement 2023: Average Package: INR 8.5 LPA & Highest Package: INR 62 LPA

KIIT SOM has a strong alumni network of 5000+ with many on the CxO level in big corporations. A few of my friends studied there and here’s what I got to know from them:

• The institute carries “Day Zero” dream campus drives to place students. 
• Already 38 companies visited the campus. A few students have already received their offers from some of the reputed companies. 
• However, the institute announced that 150+ companies are to visit the campus on day zero.
• Some "day zero" recruiters that came to campus are Autodesk, Amazon, Reliance, Quikr, Novartis, Nutanix, Informatica, VMware, Endurance International, and ZS Associates. 
• The packages offered by these companies are above INR 7 LPA. 
• Out of these, Nutanix recruited a student at INR 18 LPA. 
• However, the drive will continue till September. So, many opportunities are in queue for the students. 
• The companies like PwC, Nissan, Philips, TATA Tech, High Radius, and others will offer promising packages of over INR 6 LPA. 
• CSE students usually get an opportunity to sit for an interview in every company.

Overall, KIIT SOM students can climb to great heights if they are hardworking and persistent, as the institute provides many opportunities to grow and get placed.

One of my immediate relatives was a part of KIIT Bhubaneswar, and here is his insight regarding the campus placement of 2020. 

He mentioned that the campus placement of KIIT BHubaneswar is reasonably good. Several of his batchmates, alongside him, are currently placed at multiple top firms over and around the country. 

The recruiting companies were ZS, IBM, MU Sigma, etc. The average and highest CTC offered were 6 LPA and 30 LPA respectively. More than 195 recruiters visited the campus and a total of 3156 students got placed. 1200 students received multiple job offers. 

KIIT Bhubaneswar has excellent placements and faculties. It’s especially known for the CSE branch and its placements. All the engineering branches see good placements but CSE has a whole other level of placements at KIIT. 

• In terms of placements, CS is the most preferred. Many reputed companies visit the campus placements for recruiting CS students. Students of the CS branch have been performing well in replacements and academics, so definitely some of that credit goes to the faculty. 
• Pursuing ETC can be quite interesting too, but your grads may suffer in the 2nd year as the curriculum includes few tough core subjects like AEC, SD, etc. But if you study well, it can be managed. The faculties are good too. You have to make the most of it.
• Branches like IT, Mech automobile are also good options. But based on the reviews that I got from my friends at the institute I will suggest CS if you are good at coding. You will have a good ROI, provided you study hard and master the skill needed.

If you work hard with proper time management, no matter which branch you are opting for you will have good placements.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology(KIIT) is one of the best colleges in the northeastern part of the country. It claims to have a record of more than 90% placement. A total of 4379 offers were made, out of which 3156 students were placed in reputed companies. The top recruiter of the college is Accenture.

SRM Ghaziabad is known for its record-breaking placement of offering 8409+ jobs to its students. The training and placement cell is the focal point of the institute, as it helped national and international recruiters. More than 625+ companies visited the college and more than 95% of the students got job offers.

Amity University has made an impressive record of placing 1706 students. More than 525 companies visited the college, out of which 25 dream offers were made. The highest recruiting company was Accenture and selected 394 students. The first phase of placement begins in the month of August and results are announced.

The placement for each branch varies from one another. A number of small and big companies visited the college. Companies like Flipkart, TCS, Dell, IBM visit the college. The college maintains 70-80% placement every year.

Faculties of Manipal University believe in hands-on practical learning. As a result, 803 students were placed in the recent placement activity. A total of 100 companies visited the college that includes Accenture, Dell, Amazon, Microsoft, American Express, and a lot more. Training and placement cell helps students to brush up their skills.

According to NIRF engineering ranking 2020, KIITS managed to secure 44th rank, Srm stands at 32nd position, Amity Noida secured 32nd position, all of them secure good rank nationally.

The placement depends on the type, ranking, students, and a lot more. All the colleges listed above have a good record of placement. Some have the highest number of students placed in CSE, the some in ECE. It purely depends on the choice of the student of what he/she chooses.
