Studied Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Ropar

Chemical Engineering was introduced at IIT Ropar only a few years back. The Head of the Department is Dr. R.P. Chabbra is a renowned academician and is one of the top chemical engineers in the country. He was previously the Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering of IIT Kanpur.

The faculty for this course has been selected after tough evaluation and is some of the most qualified and experienced individuals in their respective fields. The student-to-faculty ratio for the department of chemical engineering is 1:1 so the students get more individual attention and also the chance to grow.

You will get a lot of opportunities and resources for growth and exploring your fields. With the new curriculum, you will also get the opportunity for exploring other core and non-core fields through minors and concentrations or through a wide range of electives available to you.
