The IIT Ropar scholarships are offered to the students on the basis of marks scored in the JEE, GATE examinations.
The institute offers the scholarship to the students on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) rank in the JEE examination. The amount offered in McM is INR 1,000. The scholarship is renewed on the basis of academic performance.
The M.Sc students get the scholarship in the form of tuition fee waiver which is based on the score in JAM. The basic criteria to continue the scholarship is:
The students who possess B.E/B.Tech/B.Des and have qualified GATE/GPAT are eligible for fellowship amount (12,400).
To avail JRF scholarship and fellowship amount (25,000 per month + 10% HRA if applicable), the applicant should have PG Degree in Basic Science with GATE/NET score or the applicant must hold Degree in the professional course. Whereas, to avail SRF scholarship and fellowship amount (28,000) per month + 10% HRA if applicable), the applicant must have cleared JRF with two years of research experience. The fee structure is fairly enough compared to their availabilities here. But I don't like the division on the basis of categories. They divided the fee structure on the basis of categories. And everything is affordable here. And scholarships are nearly to each and every student here. A high chance of getting a scholarship.
The fee structure is that we have to pay 118000 per semester and there is some hostel and mess security charge which we had paid at the time of admission. there are scholarships for students who are from poor backgrounds.
The fee structure is defined per semester. The hostel fee for 6 months is 12500 and the course fee for 6 months is 106000. The mess fee is 130 rupees per day. The scholarship scheme is based on the annual income of the family of the student. So the student can get financial assistance on the basis of the annual income of their family.
the fee structure here is like others iit's 10 lakhs and if your income is below 1 lakh then your tuition fee is zero and if it is between 1-5 lakhs then one by third and if it is above 5 lakhs then whole fees.
The fee structure is based on the category to which a student belongs. If you belong to a general category it costs about 1 lakh but if you are from some other category like OBC it will cost you one-third of the total admission fees if you are an sc or ST candidate then your tuition fee is completely zero. There is no need to buy books because there is a library on campus that issues books at no cost. I go to a scholarship because I am from the OBC category and in addition to that I got a scholarship called MCM.
The fee structure is like for academics nearly 1.5 lacks per year if you are a sc/st candidate then the academic fees are free for you. If your family income is less than 5 lacks then 2/3 fees will be deducted. There are a good number of companies that came to our college for job and internship options
