How are the hostel facilities at Grant Medical College, Mumbai?
If you live outside of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, you will certainly be assigned a hostel room from the start. If you live in MMR, you may have to wait up to a year, depending on your address. In the first year, rooms are assigned on a twin or triple-sharing basis. After the first year, you can choose between a single room and a double sharing room.
GMC Mumbai hostels are beautiful, with blushing greenery all around that will take your breath away and then resuscitate you. There are two hostels for MBBS undergrads.
The hostel administration provides iron beds, tables, and chairs. In addition, there is a medium-sized ground directly in front of the main entrance. The staff cleans the two large common washrooms on each floor two to three times a week.

The hostel facilities are said to be better than other medical colleges. There are two boys hostels namely, R.M.Bhatt Hostel and Apna Boys Hostel.
For the 1st academic year students will be allotted a single room accommodating 3 students. The rooms are spacious enough for 3 students.
From 2nd year, if there are other rooms available you will be alloted in a single occupancy room.
Both the hostels are in good condition.The bathrooms are renovated and well maintained after that. Thes whole campus and hostel premises have WiFi connectivity, if it cannot be accessed you can opt for broadband too.
