I can answer this honestly, though. The company eventually refused our joining by saying, "Company is in loss, we are sorry we can't take you on board," and I was one of the ten candidates who had received an offer from JSSL.

Following this, we all 10 sat down and contacted each and every HR on the placement committee's contact list. Although there are fewer chances because your friends have recently been hired by those companies, you can still do this.

  1. Find contacts in each organization by using any source to identify other businesses and consultants—there are many—who haven't been to the campus. This will increase your chances of landing a job by 80%.
  2. Although it is ineffective, try to push your CV through senior Nicmarians to receive an interview call. Challenging but just 2% likely.
  3. Paper ads, job portals, or recommendations from family and friends make up the final source.

Another opportunity exists, but it comes with a risk: travel to the Middle East, remain there for two to three months and apply wherever there are openings.

Don't anticipate receiving compensation in the same manner as when companies visit campus.
