Is IIT Mandi very remote and how are other facilities like housing, food, internet connectivity?

IIT Mandi is an eco-friendly campus located near Shivalik Valley in Himachal Pradesh, which is away from the city but not remote. 

IIT Mandi offers the best hostel facilities to the students, including free Wi-Fi, water purifiers, microwave ovens, iron boxes, televisions, and fully resourced-study rooms with good lighting and projectors. 

Two canteens are available at the college, which offer good food, and there are also restaurants nearby the campus. IIT Mandi is more of a nature-specific campus, which offers a comfortable life to us.
