It’s wrong to say that IIIT Hyderabad Cutoff has its cutoff more than NITs when NITs are the ones who are lowering the cutoffs with each passing year. IIIT-Hyderabad has been maintaining its standard from the beginning. Here are a few reasons why IIIT Hyderabad has high cutoffs

Unlike IITs and NITs, IIITs have no reservations, and admission is done on the basis of merit only.
No board marks for admission procedure
IIIT Hyderabad has built a strong image in terms of placements, academic and research work.
IIIT Hyderabad has a very ideal batch size and always gives preference to quality over quantity.
IIIT Hyderabad has a rich coding culture as it is home to some of the best minds in the country.

These are some strong reasons why IIIT Hyderabad has cutoffs even higher than NITs.
