Which is a better college, NIT Patna or BITS Pilani Goa?

Here are some advantages of BITS Pilani Goa over NIT Patna-

• Crowd - The crowd at BITS Goa is better. It doesn’t have any reservation scheme so students are selected based on their merit.

• Placements- The placements are better at BITS Goa. For the 2023 placement season, the average and median package at BITS Goa is INR 30.37 LPA and INR 30 LPA, respectively. The average package for NIT Patna for 2023, as of now, is 14 LPA and the lowest package is INR 7 LPA.

• Location - Goa offers much more exposure than Patna.

• College life- BITS Goa has no attendance criteria and a flexible schedule. Thus, BITS Goa has a better college life.

• ROI - BITS Goa is a private institution, so it has much higher fees than NIT Patna. But the placements, especially for circuital branches, make up for it.

According to me, BITS Goa is a better choice than NIT Patna.
