Is NIIT university better than Manipal University?

NIIT University is among the top reputed universities in the North. Admissions are based on national level exams followed by group discussions and interviews. University also has a record for 100% placement.

Manipal university is accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. The placement rate of the university is really good, up to 95%. Admissions to this university are based on the entrance test conducted by the university followed by an interview.

Manipal University:

• The admission process is online with an application fee of 1400 INR. The university conducts an admission test for most of the degree programs which is known as MET (Manipal Entrance Test).

• Students are also needed to complete their 12th with at least 55% in order to be eligible for admission. There is a 5% relaxation for SC and ST students.

NIIT university:

• The whole application process is online with an application fee of 1,500 INR.

• Admissions are based on national level exams like JEE, GATE, NEET, SAT, etc followed by group discussion and interview.

• With this students are also required to have 60% in 12th class in their required subjects.

Placements:

Manipal University:

• Some of the major recruiters at the institute are Accenture, Amazon, Birlasoft, Ericsson India, American Express, Dell, Bristlecone India, etc.

• The average and highest CTC offered to the students is 6 lakhs and 42 lakhs respectively.

The university has a beautiful infrastructure with a swimming pool, gym, gaming center facilities available on campus. The faculty is also well experienced.

NIIT university:

• Companies like Amazon, Audi, IBM, KPMG, Intel, coca-cola, cognizant, etc visit the campus every year for placements.

• The average salary offered to students is 5.4 lakhs and the highest salary is up to 26 lakhs.

The infrastructure of the university is really beautiful. All the facilities like the library, Wi-Fi, high-tech labs, medical facilities, etc all are available on campus.

Both universities are good choices to apply for admissions. The admission process of both universities is quite different but both provide very good placements, every year top companies visit campuses for placements. In terms of infrastructure and facilities, both the universities are equally good.
