Which is better, UIT RGPV or IET DAVV?

UIT RGPV Bhopal has highly experienced faculty members most of them being PhD holders from institutes like IITs and NITs. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidiyalaya (RGPV).

IET DAVV has completed 14 years. There is a total intake of 90 students in each department. It is approved by AICTE and UGC. They have an excellent placement record in the past 7 years.

Admission Details - 

• Students should have 50-60% in their 10+2 qualifying exams with a valid score in JEE Main.
• Students applying for postgraduate courses should have 60% in their graduation in BTech or BE.
• MTech students will be selected on the basis of GATE rank.
• The final selection will be based on the entrance exam.

Placements 

UIT RGPV 

• TCS emerged as the top recruiter.
• The recruiting companies include Reliance, DXE Technology, Godrej, Zycus, HCL, TCS, NIIT, Amdocs, Infogain, etc. 

IET DAVV

• Infosys made the most offers followed by Wipro, 131 and 123 offers respectively.
• Top companies like Accenture, Wipro, Capgemini, Synopsys and Hexaware participated in their placement programs.

Facilities 

UIT RGPV 

• They have hostels, libraries, laboratories, auditoriums and canteens.
• The other facilities include all time internet connectivity, central computer centre, guest house and transport.

IET DAVV

• With a campus area of 500 acres, the institute has 3 boys and 1 girls hostels with 288 rooms accommodating 600 students
• The institute has a student intake of 540 students and a faculty strength of 131 members.
• They have a library consisting of over 1.25 lakh books.
• They also provide a cafeteria and transport facilities.

IET DAVV is a much better institution than UIT RGPV, according to placement records, salary packages and facilities offered. Their placement performance is consistent every year. But ultimately it depends on the students and their preferences of location, affordability, accessibility and environment.
