Which is better between Techno India University and UEM Kolkata?

While choosing a college, you look for a good and friendly environment, highly qualified faculty, satisfactory placements, etc. Techno India University (TIU) provides everything but for a very high price. If fees are not your primary concern you can opt for TIU. Being a new institute, UEM also provides quality education with fees lower than TIU.

Both UEM and IEM, are under the same group of institutions. They are very strict in terms of discipline. The students are to keep a 75-80% attendance record to be eligible for placements and exams. UEM gives equal importance to academics as well as technical and cultural events, workshops and guest lectures. Their standard of education is exactly as IEM. Even IEM faculty members teach here.

Courses at UEM cost less than IEM. They might not have a luxurious campus like IEM but the quality of education is the same.

• The 5th and 6th semester becomes easier as the rules and regulations become more lenient.

After the final year TIU students are seen struggling adopting new skill development training. They were provided to the UEM students at the 4th semester of their academic career. This provides more time to prepare for GATE and CAT exams. UEM is under the IEM group of colleges, which is one of the best institutions in West Bengal.
