One of my relatives is currently studying at IIM Ranchi and it is a great college. It has maintained a great placement record ever since its inception. The college was ranked 20 by the NIRF for Management in 2020. Over the years, IIM Ranchi has consistently grown and showed an upward trend in terms of placements, exposure and ranking.
The college follows a transparent approach to placements as it has uploaded the summer placement report for 2019 -2021. The final placement report for the previous batch on their website which is accessible to all. The placement statistics for the year 2020 were tremendous.

IIM Indore, IIM Kozhikode and IIM Shillong are much like every other college and have their pros and cons. You can check their placement records, average CTCs and alumni network to discern which college meets your requirements. There are a lot of people who have graduated from IIM Shillong and IIM Indore who are currently in permanent and executive positions at reputed companies. So, it is not just the college but also individual potential that counts.
Before deciding on a particular business school, it is best to check out their alumni network, their previous placement records and talk to the students who are currently enrolled at the colleges to get a better idea.
