The CGC Landran CSE placements are pretty good with almost 100% placement percentage. However, the size of the packages depends on individual performance and is subject to vary from person to person. Many top MNCs and companies visit CGC Landran for placements. Although CGC does not release branch-wise placement statistics, here is a comparative analysis of overall placements over the past 2 years.

The electronics engineering department at IIT-BHU is one of the best departments in the institute. It publishes the largest number of research papers in the whole of BHU. The faculty is well qualified and experienced. This department has a big alumni base which excels in core electronics as well as various other fields. This department also has a good placement rate, students also get great exposer for further studies, like pursuing an MS or MBA from universities abroad.

Some core companies that offer jobs to Electronics Engineers are in IIT BHU are Texas Instruments, LG Electronics, CISCO, BEL, ECIL (Electronics Corporation of India Limited), Sony, Freescale Semiconductors, AMD, Qualcomm, Intel, Toshiba, Samsung Electronics, Philips Semiconductors, HP, Mentor Graphics and IBM. Also, ISRO recruits only students of ECE/MECH/CS. Apart from the core companies software companies are also open for placement for the ECE Department. In previous years the average package of the department was around 14-15 lakhs/per annum.
