Which has a better placement in CSE, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, IIT Mandi, IIT Ropar, IIT Patna, or IIT Indore?

For CSE, IIT Ropar, ISM Dhanbad, IIT Indore and IIT Patna are good colleges. As these colleges are well established in this field and have good alumni as well. You will notice a minor difference in placements in these colleges. But IIT Ropar is considered best among these colleges in terms of placement. 

One of my friends suggested that the placements at IIT Ropar is increasing day by day the percentage has increased from 90-97% in the past five years. The median package in this college has also increased from 8lac to 12 lac per annum for CSE Branch. The college also provides 6 months internship where you will get exposure to various real life work experience. The research faculties are also increasing very fast in the college and it is now considered as one of the top colleges for CSE branch in India.

You should select IIT Ropar not only for placements but for following reasons as well:

1. The college has got a bunch of highly experienced and qualified professors and faculties who will make you competent enough so that you will get a good job. They are friendly as well.
2. The Teacher to student ratio is 1:8 which is very good that means one student has been allocated 8 faculties. This will help the student in more learning and clearing doubts as well.
3. The coding and development culture of the college for CSE students is very good. There is a coding club and software community as well where around 300+ active members are available. Also the students can learn coding and clear their doubts with the help of senior members.

Other than IIT Ropar you can choose IIT Patna whose placement is good and faculties are also good for CS branch only.
