Which is better, Amity Noida or IIT Mandi?

Since you are considering Amity University as one of the options, I assume that you have no financial constraints and can afford better private institutions. That being said, I have prepared a list of colleges in their order of preference. Most of these colleges charge half the fees than Amity.
- Private colleges like BITS Goa campus and Thapar University
- If the fee is the constraint, then go for government colleges like Top NITs, DTU, IIIT Allahabad, and IIIT Delhi
- IIT Mandi, Ropar, Hydrabad
- Lower NITs
- VIT, Amity University, SRM, and LMNIIT should be the last preference.
The above preference order is based on the quality of education offered and not the brand name It's exactly why I have placed the new IITs after NITs and Amity at the last.
Ultimately, it depends on what you are looking for in a university and what your specific needs and interests are. Amity Noida:
If you are fond of living in a metro city, then Amity Noida would be a better option to choose. The college itself is reputed and you will get that metro city culture.
- In Noida, you’ll get access to malls, cafes, clubs, factories, and in fact companies as well.
- You will get multiple work opportunities during and after graduation if you are in the Delhi NCR region.
IIT Mandi:
On academic grounds IIT Mandi is unbeatable.
- You will be guided by extremely qualified professors who are always ready to help you out.
- You will get a platform to brush up your skills and enhance them to a better scale.
- You will have access to advanced machinery and can take part in modern-day research at IIT Mandi.
- With respect to placement as well, IIT Mandi has better placement records in comparison to Amity Noida.
- IIT Mandi has a very beautiful lush green campus which is a cherry on the cake.
Overall, you will never regret your decision to be a part of IIT Mandi if you are not particularly fond of metro- city life.
You must note that all this was for a Science and Engineering program. For non-scientific discipline, Amity Noida is better as IIT Mandi does not offer non-scientific courses. Overall you will see that both the colleges have their own reputation. So, you have to make your own choice based upon your priorities
