Do all students get hostel in NIT Raipur? What about PWD students? Is there WiFi in each hostel?

There are about 940 to 960 students per year that are given admission for B. Tech every year with 365 seats given to boys. As far as the hostel is concerned, at the boy’s hostel, 75% of seats are reserved for students from other states and 25% for students from the home state. Due to this, it is quite possible that not all students will end up securing a seat. It will depend on the score you achieve in JEE Mains. The rank will decide your seat.

• There are also special arrangements for students with physical disabilities. They all usually end up securing a seat. For first-year students, hostels A, B, D, and F have been allocated with a few guidelines in place. 
• To apply you will have to fill up a hostel admission form and submit it to the hostel authority. With this, you will have to include self-attested copies of the admission letter, scorecards for JEE, and caste certificate. The final result is displayed on the hostel notice boards.
• When you begin your second year, the seats are allocated based on the CPI you score at the end of the second year. If you score well and on merit, you will definitely be able to secure hostel accommodation. If not, you will have to look for other means of stay.
• Generally, almost all girls end up securing a hostel in the first year. PWD students are also given a priority here. 
• Wi-Fi connection has been made available after students filed a petition. LAN connection is provided in the first year hostels. You will get WiFi second year onwards.

You should definitely give it a shot trying for a hostel here. And if you are a PWD student, chances are, you will surely secure a seat.
