Where should I enroll, NIT Surathkal (mining engineering) or PES University (computer science)?

One of my friends studies at NITK and as per his experience, Mining Engineering at NIT Surathkal is better than Kharagpur, BITS Pilani, Tricky, Warangal, or Mechanical Engineering.
Therefore, you can choose Mining Engineering from NIT Surathkal too. It is a good option for students who want an audacious career. As NIT Surathkal is considered as one of the best institutes in Karnataka and it also has decent placement.
