A cousin of mine is studying at IIIT Vadodara. According to him, this is what you will get at IIIT Vadodara, How is its campus, activities, infrastructure and placement scenario, etc.

• IIIT Vadodara is a good institute in terms of academics.
• It has better facilities, good lab work, assignments, exams, etc. But the non-academic part of IIIT Vadodara is not as good as its academic part.
• IIIT Vadodara does not have its own permanent campus which is why it does not have a proper infrastructure, a library, and a sports complex.
• Only IIIT Vadodara labs are in good condition. As the institute faculty is quite poor, students have to depend on themselves.
• The placement of IIIT Vadodara is not very pleasant as no placement cell exists in the institute.

In terms of placements, both the universities are equally exposed to the industrial side.

Campus Life:

• Speaking of campus life, both the institutes are good in their own way.
• SRM has a very preferable campus, while on the flip side, MSIT has an average one.
• Yet, MSIT is situated in a very high-spirited location, which gives it the advantage of having numerous places to explore.

The choice, however, is yours. But in perspective with the above statements, MSIT would definitely be a better choice than SRM University, if considering the ROI factor, besides the IPU tag.
