Cleared class 12 in the science stream with subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and home science. Secured minimum qualification marks( usually 50% - 60%) as prescribed by the University/college. These are the minimum eligibility of the course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Food scientists study new ingredients with better nutrition and health benefits and develop new products or technologies to improve the shelf life of the product. Faculties have completed PhD from a recognised university then they are eligible for this post. The use of technology in the classroom helps to engage the students with different kinds of stimuli and creates an environment of activity-based learning. If you have enough interest in it and put the minimum effort into keeping up with your syllabus it's not hard at all.

Internships Opportunities :

Around 40-60% of students got placed from the college in various companies with an average salary package of 4LPA-12LPA. All hardworking students got internships in different companies. The college assistant guides to get internships. The top role is offered to all engineers.

The best college to enhance our future. It provides good on-campus placement. Wipro, TCS, Hexaware, and ITC visit for on-campus placement. The minimum salary is around INR 3 LPA for an average student. Best study environment and all facilities are available.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scheduled caste students studied in post-metric classes are awarded scholarships under the Govt of India's post-metric scholarship scheme ranging from Rs. 230/- to Rs. 1200/- p.m. in post-metric to post-graduate classes.

Campus Life :

The infrastructure of the campus is very nice and a large campus with a beautiful environment. Realizing the importance of sports and games in the formation of character and physical development, EGIs have provided vast playgrounds, courts, and pitches for numerous games, all in the international standard so that the students have the best of everything.

Hostel Facilities :

Excel institutions provide excellent hostel facilities for students that make them feel that they are in a home away or home during the period of their education. Excel Hostel provides single, double, and multiple-member rooms. A fabulous food court on campus serves delicious vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian multi-cuisine food items at reasonable prices. The hostels function under the supervision of the chief supervisory warden and deputy wardens.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech Food Technology is one of the best courses in TNAU. There are more food industries where we see. Even though we have opportunity in abroad. Max, there are 60 members per dept and have 9 subjects each subject there are min 2 faculties. Each faculties are qualified ph.d in those subjects they take. There is a mid-semester for each semester question papers will be easy to understand and easy to get good marks.
