A Real review of Vinayaka Homoeopathy

Remarks :

I joined homeopathy in 2019 by appearing for the NEET exam 2019. The pass mark is 107, I got 190 out of 720. Then I applied for All India Neet counseling through aaccc.gov.in, There are three rounds of counseling, I applied in the last mop-up round, and finally, I got admitted to Vinayaka mission homeopathic Medical College and Hospital. Here there is no donation, admission is purely based on your neet mark. The administrative staff handled this very professionally and guided us throughout the whole process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have been taking homoeopathy medicine since my childhood. I have immense faith in this system of medicine. I saw homoeopathy cures many chronic illnesses permanently without any side effects by treating patients through a holistic approach. In my college, there are many departments ( Organon, Pharmacy, Surgery, Materia medica, Repertory, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Psychiatry, Paediatric) with an emergency unit, x-ray unit, and Laboratory facilities. Each department is filled so well experienced faculties, in every department there is a HOD, an associate professor and 3-to 4 assistant professors. For all batches, they conduct a term exam, a model exam and finally University exam.

Internships Opportunities :

There is no stipend for inerns, Students are not allowed if they are willing to work in other colleges. There will be allopathic postings for 6 months. Interns are asked to do a thesis for completion. Interns are taken regularly to health camps.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Regarding the fee structure as compared to other colleges, it is less. Our college provides various scholarships both institutional and Government scholarships. I will mention some of the scholarships: Founder's scholarship, Academic merit-based scholarship, Alumine scholarship, Economically and socially based scholarship, Physically Challenged, Staff welfare scholarship, Sports Professional Scholarship, and Ex-servicemen scholarship.

Campus Life :

The campus life is not bad. Before COVID college used to conduct an annual fest. But after COVID everything paused. Management is again working to conduct again regularly. Vinayaka Mission has a large collection of books journals and research books in the library. Our college has started a digital library with free Wi-Fi connection with any number of computers for the students. The working hour of the Library is 9 to 5. Students are provided enough support in the extra activities. The college has newly inaugurated new clubs for arts sports etc. They run their own group on social media which was managed by student council members.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in learning homoeopathy I chose this course. There are enough number of faculties in each department and a number of students are graduating from here. Most of the faculties have completed MD(hom) and some have completed PhD. The teaching method is good. We have smart boards too. All new modes of teaching are also utilized now like PPT, smart class, etc. The term exams will be conducted regularly every year. About 2 term exams and 1 model exam will be conducted before appearing in university exams each year.
