Remarks :

Chennai Institute of Technology is an Autonomous College affiliated with Anna University. The course eligibility should be taken at least 80% of the cutoff in 12th standard to get seat by counselling or take a seat by Management quota.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course syllabus and examinations are conducted by the Chennai Institute of Technology. The faculty members are very talented experienced and updated based on current situations. The faculty ratio is 1:7 in our college.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The scholarships are provided for graduate students by the Tamilnadu Government and Minorities also get scholarships and The cost of study is good. Placement is also good compared to other colleges. Education loans are also provided.

Campus Life :

Every year they conduct Takshashila as cultural fest like a cultural festival. Every department is organising National Level Technical Symposiums. The library is very big and has a good number of books.

Honest review of Tnau

Placement Experience:

There are placements for the students passing out but the jobs usually don't pay more than 15000 per month on average. The placements are not always equal to all departments like food technology department gets the most placements and biotechnology and other departments almost get no placements. The new management is doing a lot to improve the placement program.

I am really interested in this group. Students 40 to 50 are present in this course. Teaching methods were very good and time properly maintained. A little bit difficult for that. but it is like it. The time of the exam is 5 to 6 months period.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech Food Technology is one of the best courses in TNAU. There are more food industries where we see. Even though we have opportunity in abroad. Max, there are 60 members per dept and have 9 subjects each subject there are min 2 faculties. Each faculties are qualified ph.d in those subjects they take. There is a mid-semester for each semester question papers will be easy to understand and easy to get good marks.
