Remarks :

The campus is quite nice. Guest faculties are provided for first-year students who don't know anything about the subject. The hostel condition is very bad. They are even removing internships from the 2022 batch.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is changed from the 2k22 batch. The first year has a very hectic schedule. There are many clubs and technical societies students can opt for any club and society of their choice and interest. Freshers can seek their senior's guidance through these clubs and societies.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

NIT Kurukshetra has a training and placement cell that offers various placement and internship opportunities for students. The training and placement cell of NIT Kurukshetra works hard to provide the opportunities which will give the best growth in the career of the students. The training and placement cell invites companies for NIT Kurukshetra placement drive to their college from various sectors such as Core Engineering, Consulting, Manufacturing, Software and IT.

Placement Experience :

Overall it's a good college in terms of placement and infrastructure. Around 90% of students have been placed in the 2023 placement drive. The highest package offered in our NIT was from the ECE branch only around 65 Lacs and the minimum package was around 9 Lacs and the average lies around 18 Lacs. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Qualcomm etc. Around 40% got internships in companies like Microsoft, Genpact etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure details are provided on the college website. Also, the college gives concessions to pwd students, students whose family income is less than 5 lac and also to ST, and SC students. You can avail of various scholarships during your course.

Campus Life :

Life on campus is quite happening if you have good friends. It is an old NIT so the infrastructure is not that good. NIT Kurukshetra organises a cultural fest called confluence every year, in which even individuals can show their skills. Also, many popular singers come to this fest.

Hostel Facilities :

Conditions of the hostels is not very good but decent. In first year you are provided triple seater room with basic facilities such as lan, chair, almirah,bed and a study table. After 1st year you will be getting single seater rooms. Mess food of Hostel no. 1 is very good as compared to the other hostels

The IIIT Review

Placement Experience:

4th year students according to me become eligible for college placements. IIIT Sonepat Placements 2023 recorded 78.79% placements. Out of 99 eligible students, 78 students were placed with 117 offers. IIIT Sonepat highest package increased by about 3% to INR 52 LPA whereas IIIT Sonepat's average package increased by 18% to INR 16.51 LPA. Recruiters like Amazon, Jio, Woovly, Deloitte, Juspay, Yamaha etc participated in IIIT Sonepat Placements 2023. I plan To Do an M.Tech from IIT through the GATE exam.

My life at DCRUST

Placement Experience:

I' m from a civil branch so obviously placement opportunities but a student still manages to get placement in companies like TCS on the basis of coding culture. CSE and ECE students need to just cross 7-8 CGPA for sitting in placement cells and based on their interviews their packages depend.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curricula are based on providing technical skills as well as fundamental theories. All faculty members are very good and provide good education to students but some are like okay, because they do not take their classes regularly. I chose this course because I am interested in the technical part as well as the software part of machines. The student-teacher ratio of all the courses in this college is like 1 teacher for 60 students. Most faculty members have master in their degrees and the teaching methods of some teachers are very good but some are very bad.
