Review of MNNIT,Allahabad by an BTech. student in Eletrical Engineering

Remarks :

My admission process is done by the councelling held by the JOSAA which conducts the councelling for different IIT's,NIT's,IIIT's and GFTI's.And in the councelling rounds i am able to get a seat inMotilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am pursuing BTech. in Electrical Engineering & the benefits of this course is that it is a curcuital branch and have good opportunities in both Goverment and Private Sector, And also in electical branch most of the companies allow the student for the p;acements as well as in internships.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies such as Microsoft, Facebook , Google, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan and many more visit for the internship opportunities in the campus. The approx stipend for the Microsoft is 1lakh approximately.

Placement Experience :

The MNNIT,Allahabad is known for its internships and placements. This year itself the average package of the college has gone above 20 lakhs CTC for the Bacherlor of technology. And the highest package also crossed the mark of 1 crore internatinal package in computer Sceince and Engineering Brach.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I come with no scholorship but there are many programs for the scholorships which are available in College.Such as the annual family income by which students who's family annual income is lesser than 5lakh gets the scholorship in thier Tution fee wavier but rest of the fees have to be give by the student.

Campus Life :

LIfe is Good and Chill at the campus as the course curricullam is not that hectic and we gat enough time for extra-curricullar activities as well as for the coding for your internships and placement seasons.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are also good, Good Mess food is provided to the students for four time a day and the mess fee is 25 thousands rupee per semester in every hostel , regular cleaning of rooms and washrooms are also done in regular interval of time.

Placement Experience:

Placement is also at the best level. Many companies and startups come to the campus to provide internships. Students also get a 1cr plus package in some companies. But for that you have to work smartly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because my family wants me to become an engineer. So I chose electrical engineering student because I have an idea in my mind to do something big in this field. Here the faculties are very good and for electrical engineering, it is awesome. All the teachers are good. So if you want to know about students ratio then you'll see girls are very low. If you ask me about mine then in my batch only 24 girls are there out of 150 boys. Here most of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and PhD holders. if you'll ask me to rate the course and faculty I'll give you 8 /10. Here exams are held semester vice. And CTS are also there

Placement Experience:

The student is eligible from 3rd year for campus placement. Most of the student prepare for exams like GATE, SSC, and IAS or some of them open their startup. Placements are not that good. But some of the students with good skills get a decent package.

Placement to college is average but there are many students who have not been placed in BBAU. From 3 years students become eligible for campus placement. My plan after getting the degree is to do M.tech.

The placements at this college are really well and many companies visited our college. Last year our placed student got the highest percentage of 100% placement. It provides a good assessment so that it is easy to clear the interview round.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech CS is a very learning course. In this course, we learn about device infrastructure and its working module. The faculties of IMSEC are mainly IIT passed out. Term exams will be conducted after every one and a half months.

You get placed in your 4th year and the highest package was off campus around 4 cr and on campus was 2.4 cr and the average is 18 LPA around. If you sit for placement with a decent prep you are most likely to get placed. And yup I too am hoping for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical things so I decided to opt for it. The faculty of the electrical engineering branch is well qualified there are lots of professors who graduated from IITs if we talk about the student ratio it is equal to a ratio of 1:84. Every two months minor exam is held and It is quite difficult to pass if you are not prepared from the start. After two minor exams, there is a final exam held called majors in which the full syllabus of the semester is asked.
