About MNNIT by an MNNITian

Remarks :

The admission process was smooth. Each branch has its respective date for physical registration. Mostly the application process is online. we need to qualify JEE MAINS with at least 96%ile and then go through the JoSAA counselling procedure where we sort colleges in preferential order also it includes seat freezing, floating, and sliding. General students need to pay 35,000 whenever they have been allotted a seat in the college of their preference list and then 40,000 as a seat acceptance fee. On the final admission process day we need to pay 25000 mess fees.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I Choose this branch and make your career in any domain. So did I. In Chemical engineering you get ample amount of time to study any domain in which you got interested after exploring. Mentioning about faculty, professors teach in class and you can contact them after class too, you can also approach his assistants or PhD students. 14 faculty members with one HOD for the whole chemical Engineering department. Sometimes Assistant professors also teach us. All the faculty members have done Ph. D.s from old IITs and are renowned in their area. Each professor has a different teaching style, you will be used to it but you will never enjoy it. Term exams or end sems were held very timely, one can study 1-2 weeks before exams by maintaining notes.

Internships Opportunities :

Oracle, Salesforce hires SDE from our colleges. Deloitte, Infosys, and Capgemini hire many consultants and Goldman Sachs hires many interns from college in various fields. We get offers from product developers too. Many edtech companies also visit our campus. All core companies for electrical, chemical, and mechanical visits and offer process engineer roles to us. The stipend varies according to the role and it also converts to PPO too. interested students prepare development projects, and problem-solving projects, and present scalable Ideas.

Placement Experience :

In the third year, students become eligible for campus placements. Not all branches get offers in their third year. But in the final year, all branches get exposure to participate in campus placements procedure. companies like Oracle, Salesforce, TCS, Infosys, oil and Paint, Capgemini, E&Y, Deloitte etc. Visits our campus and provides us with hundreds of offers. Our placement stats are at the top among all NITs The highest package of our institute is 1 crore 35 lakh(CSE) and the average is 20 lakh. For Chemical highest package is 52 lakh and the average is 13.75 lakh. In the Chemical branch, 95% of students get placed. Some go for higher studies. Need to get into software companies with my all efforts and brain.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Being a centrally funded institute, course fees never get hiked up but Mess fees have Course fees charged according to the income slot a student belongs to. Currently, A student who comes under 1 lakh income slot and an SC or ST also pays 38,000 and the student who comes between 1 lakh and 5 lakh income slot pays 79,666, and all those who are above 5 lakh pay 1,73000. You can recover this amount as you will be a part of MNNIT and placements here are incredible. Talking about scholarships, many private institutions scholarships, state-level scholarships, and central-level scholarships are available. You need to visit the dean's site or go to the admin office's notice board to be aware of the scholarships ongoing.

Campus Life :

Our annual fest CULRAV happens in the month of April and our tech fest Avishkar happens in November every year. Three newspapers and many magazines are available in the library. All types of books including academics, religious, and non-academics are available. All classrooms are properly ventilated and are cleaned every day. Many classrooms have working AC. Exceptions are everywhere. Sports including badminton, volleyball, basketball, tennis, kho kho, kabaddi, skating, football, and cricket are available here. The National Athletic Meet is organized every year to praise and admire sports culture and teams. Tech clubs, and cultural committees all are significant parts of college life. Computer club, robotics club(tech clubs),garba committee, Rajasthani committee, etc.(cultural committee), Nishaad(the music club), and Footprints (the red carpet committee) all contribute to a great college life one can experience. The paper factory website is managed by seniors to provide academic resources to first-year years.

Placement is also at the best level. Many companies and startups come to the campus to provide internships. Students also get a 1cr plus package in some companies. But for that you have to work smartly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because my family wants me to become an engineer. So I chose electrical engineering student because I have an idea in my mind to do something big in this field. Here the faculties are very good and for electrical engineering, it is awesome. All the teachers are good. So if you want to know about students ratio then you'll see girls are very low. If you ask me about mine then in my batch only 24 girls are there out of 150 boys. Here most of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and PhD holders. if you'll ask me to rate the course and faculty I'll give you 8 /10. Here exams are held semester vice. And CTS are also there

The student is eligible from 3rd year for campus placement. Most of the student prepare for exams like GATE, SSC, and IAS or some of them open their startup. Placements are not that good. But some of the students with good skills get a decent package.

B.Tech CS is a very learning course. In this course, we learn about device infrastructure and its working module. The faculties of IMSEC are mainly IIT passed out. Term exams will be conducted after every one and a half months.

You get placed in your 4th year and the highest package was off campus around 4 cr and on campus was 2.4 cr and the average is 18 LPA around. If you sit for placement with a decent prep you are most likely to get placed. And yup I too am hoping for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical things so I decided to opt for it. The faculty of the electrical engineering branch is well qualified there are lots of professors who graduated from IITs if we talk about the student ratio it is equal to a ratio of 1:84. Every two months minor exam is held and It is quite difficult to pass if you are not prepared from the start. After two minor exams, there is a final exam held called majors in which the full syllabus of the semester is asked.
