IS MNNIT WORTH IT

Remarks :

To get admission into MNNIT you have to crack the jee mains examination and get around 95 percentile (for the general category)to get admission. There is a reservation for different categories You can register for jee mains on the official nta site when forms are released and then you are allowed to take the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen mechanical engineering because of my interest and also the overall package for ME in MNNIT is quite attractive. The faculty is good but not that excellent. The professors are very experienced and old, some of the professors teach very well and the curriculum is very difficult compared to other branches. In my 3rd semester, we had 5 labs a week and the total working hours were 32 per week. Exams can be passed easily if you are paying attention in class and revising it for just 2-3 hours you can get a good cpi

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are good as big companies like Goldman Sachs, cred, Microsoft, Bajaj, PSU's come in our college there are clubs which will you to create your projects and these projects will give you an edge over other students

Placement Experience :

From 7th sem students are eligible for campus placement and the placement is huge as our college is ranked 7th all over India in terms of placement above various IITs and NITs average package for CSE is around 26 lpa and the overall average package offered is 16 lpa. Most students are placed but some students opt to go for higher studies and some don't take placement because of other reasons

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees is not that high there is different fee structure for different family annual income category. For families having annual income less than 1lakh your tuition fee is reduced and there are various scholarships available you can opt

Campus Life :

There are two main fests of our college one is culrav(cultural) and the other one is avishkar(technical) also for freshers there is swagat and for farewell, the ruksat fest is organised. The campus is big but there are many areas of campus in which you are not allowed to enter so, there are good sports facilities and various technical clubs like robotics, aero modelling, SAE, green club, etc. Cultural clubs are also there like dance committees literary clubs, footprints, and dramatic clubs

Hostel Facilities :

In our first year we are given accommodation of 4 or 3 and the rooms are big you can live very peaceful but from second year the rooms are small and 2 people live in same room but in 3rd and final year you are give single room. The quality of mess food is good but the food is generally not that tasty and the menu is decided by the mess comittee formed by students. Pg facilities are not easily available as there are very less number of students woh take pg most of the students prefer to live in college hostels

Placement is also at the best level. Many companies and startups come to the campus to provide internships. Students also get a 1cr plus package in some companies. But for that you have to work smartly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because my family wants me to become an engineer. So I chose electrical engineering student because I have an idea in my mind to do something big in this field. Here the faculties are very good and for electrical engineering, it is awesome. All the teachers are good. So if you want to know about students ratio then you'll see girls are very low. If you ask me about mine then in my batch only 24 girls are there out of 150 boys. Here most of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and PhD holders. if you'll ask me to rate the course and faculty I'll give you 8 /10. Here exams are held semester vice. And CTS are also there

The student is eligible from 3rd year for campus placement. Most of the student prepare for exams like GATE, SSC, and IAS or some of them open their startup. Placements are not that good. But some of the students with good skills get a decent package.

Placement to college is average but there are many students who have not been placed in BBAU. From 3 years students become eligible for campus placement. My plan after getting the degree is to do M.tech.

B.Tech CS is a very learning course. In this course, we learn about device infrastructure and its working module. The faculties of IMSEC are mainly IIT passed out. Term exams will be conducted after every one and a half months.

You get placed in your 4th year and the highest package was off campus around 4 cr and on campus was 2.4 cr and the average is 18 LPA around. If you sit for placement with a decent prep you are most likely to get placed. And yup I too am hoping for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical things so I decided to opt for it. The faculty of the electrical engineering branch is well qualified there are lots of professors who graduated from IITs if we talk about the student ratio it is equal to a ratio of 1:84. Every two months minor exam is held and It is quite difficult to pass if you are not prepared from the start. After two minor exams, there is a final exam held called majors in which the full syllabus of the semester is asked.
