Remarks :

To get into this college I had to jee mains I got 20479 air the eligibility criteria was 75 percent marks in 12th boards. The application form was available online. I didn't avail of any reservation benefit.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I had some interest in physics. The girl-to-boy ratio here is 1:20. All the faculties are Ph.D. holders and have done their Ph. D.s from IITs or nits. The exam is like every other month but passing it is not that difficult.

Class Size : 20Course Fees : INR 186000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Students entering in the 5th semester get the opportunity to apply for an internship so I don't know much about that but seniors do tell me that for the core branch, there is no scope for internship only cse ece students get a good internship with nice stipends.

Placement Experience :

5th-semester students are eligible for campus placements. All the companies visit the campus but only CSE students or ECE students are hired. Very little scope for core students to get a placement in the tech field.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since I have got a 75 percent fee waiver fee it is not a big problem. And I have also got a loan from BRCC. Since I am currently in 2nd std I haven't been to the intern session or job placements so I can't comment on that.

Campus Life :

The campus is very small as compared to other nits and iits also the city is also not that developed so nightlife here is very bad. In the classrooms there are acs but they never work properly. So infrastructure is also not that good here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because my family wants me to become an engineer. So I chose electrical engineering student because I have an idea in my mind to do something big in this field. Here the faculties are very good and for electrical engineering, it is awesome. All the teachers are good. So if you want to know about students ratio then you'll see girls are very low. If you ask me about mine then in my batch only 24 girls are there out of 150 boys. Here most of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and PhD holders. if you'll ask me to rate the course and faculty I'll give you 8 /10. Here exams are held semester vice. And CTS are also there

IIT Kanpur : Overly underrated

Placement Experience:

You get placed in your 4th year and the highest package was off campus around 4 cr and on campus was 2.4 cr and the average is 18 LPA around. If you sit for placement with a decent prep you are most likely to get placed. And yup I too am hoping for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical things so I decided to opt for it. The faculty of the electrical engineering branch is well qualified there are lots of professors who graduated from IITs if we talk about the student ratio it is equal to a ratio of 1:84. Every two months minor exam is held and It is quite difficult to pass if you are not prepared from the start. After two minor exams, there is a final exam held called majors in which the full syllabus of the semester is asked.
