Remarks :

We had to take the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Mains) for admission. In order to get mechanical engineering, the cutoff rank for the general category was 19000 upto Josaa 6th round. Josaa is the seat allotment authority that provides the seat to a candidate.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Mechanical engineering at MNNIT is the oldest and is adorned by many experienced and qualified teachers. The course curriculum is as per National Education Policy 2020 and covers vast and accurate subjects required for mechanical engineering. I want to take the IAS examination so I chose this course. The student-to-faculty ratio is 40:1. Faculties are mostly PhD and very skilled. Examinations are quite tough but the things explained in class help to pass them.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 93500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

For mechanical engineering, very few companies offered internships in core but in IT companies, many offers were provided for internships upto 1 lakh per month. Nice projects and certifications provide a good chance for pre-placement offers.

Placement Experience :

College placement is the main highlight with an average package of 12.5 lakhs for mechanical engineering and a highest package of 55 lakhs. In the CSE department, the average package was 27 lakhs and the highest was 1.35 crores. Many Tier 1,2 companies offered good packages to students. Placement percentage was above 93% for mechanical engineering.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees for general candidate is 93500 and scholarships are provided for SC and ST students. Financial assistance from the Student Welfare Department is provided that helps many students in paying fees. MNNIT is vastly known for providing the best placements among NITs. The average package for mechanical engineering is 12.5 lakhs. Many Tier 1,2,3 companies provide packages upto 1.5 crores for the CSE department and 55 Lakhs for the mechanical engineering department.

Campus Life :

College life in MNNIT is widely entertaining and excellent. With the provision of AC classrooms, a very good Central Library and lavishly ornamented cafes like Mr.Dewsis and Cafe 96 make it a very enjoyable experience. A vast variety of sports like badminton, basketball, cricket, golf, soccer, etc. is there on the campus. The gym is also there.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are fine for accommodation and rooms are fairly large enough for living with 2 roommates in the first year, a single roommate in the second year, and single rooms are provided from the third year. Mess is average quality and people get bored and irritated from the same taste. Registration is very smooth and only an ID card is required for registration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because my family wants me to become an engineer. So I chose electrical engineering student because I have an idea in my mind to do something big in this field. Here the faculties are very good and for electrical engineering, it is awesome. All the teachers are good. So if you want to know about students ratio then you'll see girls are very low. If you ask me about mine then in my batch only 24 girls are there out of 150 boys. Here most of the faculties are from IITs or NITs and PhD holders. if you'll ask me to rate the course and faculty I'll give you 8 /10. Here exams are held semester vice. And CTS are also there

IIT Kanpur : Overly underrated

Placement Experience:

You get placed in your 4th year and the highest package was off campus around 4 cr and on campus was 2.4 cr and the average is 18 LPA around. If you sit for placement with a decent prep you are most likely to get placed. And yup I too am hoping for placements.

All About MMMUT Gorakhpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical things so I decided to opt for it. The faculty of the electrical engineering branch is well qualified there are lots of professors who graduated from IITs if we talk about the student ratio it is equal to a ratio of 1:84. Every two months minor exam is held and It is quite difficult to pass if you are not prepared from the start. After two minor exams, there is a final exam held called majors in which the full syllabus of the semester is asked.
