Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
Candidate should have passed 10+2 in Science stream or its equivalent qualification, with at least 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics, Physics as a compulsory subject and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology as one of the optional subjects from a recognized Board.
Entrance Exam:
Candidates must qualify JEE Mains.

MNNIT offers nine specializations under the B.Tech course. To be eligible for admission a candidate must pass 10+2 with 75% marks in the Science stream. For selection, they have to take the JEE Main.

How to apply for JEE- Main?
Candidates who are eligible for admission to MNNIT have to take the JEE-Main for selection. The registration process for it is described below:

- Register for the online application form
- Make a note of the system-generated application number
- Create a password
- Log in again and fill out the form
- Upload scanned images of photographs and signature
- A fee of 650 INR (325 INR for reserved categories) will be charged/ It is to be paid through Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, UPI or Paytm.

I chose this course because this course is lite and you can get extra time to do side hustle and explore new things which makes your college journey memorable. In your college boys vs. girls ratio is pretty good (4:1). All the faculties are well qualified and completed their ph.d from one of the great institutions of our country likely IITs, BITs, or NITS. Their method of teaching is superb. They do class in hybrid mode, which means using ppts.

And by choosing this course it provides me with ample time to explore various personality development activity going on in college. Facality to student ratio of the department goes 4:1. I Choose this branch and make your career in any domain. So did I. In Chemical engineering you get ample amount of time to study any domain in which you got interested after exploring. Mentioning about faculty, professors teach in class and you can contact them after class too, you can also approach his assistants or PhD students. 14 faculty members with one HOD for the whole chemical Engineering department. Sometimes Assistant professors also teach us. All the faculty members have done Ph. D.s from old IITs and are renowned in their area. Each professor has a different teaching style, you will be used to it but you will never enjoy it. Term exams or end sems were held very timely,one can study 1-2 weeks before exams by maintaining notes.
