Remarks :

The eligibility for the course is to pass jee mains and a minimum below 40k rank to get into the college for obc and EWS and general students. we can apply for this college through the Jossa and csab counselling process. In contrast, obc and EWS will receive almost the same reservation. but in general, getting a seat in this college for the general category is tough. I thought that the admission process would be better if they would allow online registrations and give us the freedom to select our rooms.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Actually, my rank was 24k with my rank I can easily get a mechanical branch in this college but according to placements I have taken chemical. Most of the teachers are professors and assistant professors. The ratio is 20:1. 2 exams for a sem

Placement Experience :

From 5th semester students are eligible to get into placements. the placements are too good when compared to other nits. the average package was 15 lpa 90 percent were placed. I have also placed. the highest package was 47 lakhs this year. Accenture, amazon, bajaj, CGI India, sprinkler

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure was very flexible and the cost to study was also very reasonable. I think per month it takes 7k per both mess and hostel and we can select what type of food we want. the financial assistance that was taken to me is a scholarship fee.

Campus Life :

The fests thoroughly occur on campus. the annual fest's name was Tathva. the seniors are too interactive there are many clubs for students to participate the classrooms are decent enough sports are very highly encouraged NIT Calicut have many cups in volleyball ball in international competition. literature and debate club.

Hostel Facilities :

They provide wifi for each room. rooms are well cleaned every day by the workers. quality of the meal was good but the food was mostly made up of coconut oil so it made you feel the food was bad. even chicken also made up of that oil. the hostel costs are 7k per sem which includes everything

IIIT KOTTAYAM AN EXPERIENCE TO BEHOLD

Placement Experience:

Seniors said that they are sitting for placements in the final year and preparations are made from 3rd year. The on-campus placement happens very often. TCS, Infosys, etc. International companies like NVidia also came for placement. 92% of students got placed in 2023. I plan to sit for placement after Btech.

A Beautiful review about my College

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fine. It's good and can manage both academics and sports. Faculty members are so kind and good. As I said in my preference order I gave CSE as my choice but I got only ECE anyway I like electronics. Faculties here have doctorate degree along with some specialization. Exams. There are 2 mid-semester exams each for 50 marks and 1 End semester exam for 100 marks along with some courses have lab.

My College Experience

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are there if you cross the minimum CGPA mark. We have lots of big companies with the highest package being 50 laks(yeah CS) and 4 lakhs per annum idk which branch so the average is somewhere 14 lakhs p/a. Caterpillar, Infosys, Tata, Bajaj, Axis Bank many more you can go to nitc website for this there is a detailed report there. just check the website. My plan is probably MTech I don't know I am not studying enough for gata let see what happens.
