However, the most recent data indicates that the highest packages offered to B.Tech and dual degree students were INR 16.60 LPA and INR 13.20 LPA respectively. In 2023, 51 out of 77 M.Tech students were placed, and notable companies that recruited from the institute include Adobe Systems, General Electric, Infosys, and Wipro.

The eligibility criteria may vary from country to country but usually international students require to meet the equivalent qualification to the Indian education system of 10 + 2 so that they can meet the English proficiency, and also they need to secure a valid score in international exams like SAT or ACT.

Additionally, students who maintain a minimum CGPA of 9.0 per year can receive a 50% tuition fee waiver for the following semester. For PhD students, the initial fellowship amount is INR 31,000 per month, with the potential to increase to INR 35,000 after two years, subject to performance evaluation. Scholarship recipients are also required to contribute academically through tutorials or practicals for up to 6 hours per week.According to IIST regulations, scholars are responsible for covering personal expenses such as boarding and lodging.
