Remarks :
I took Jee mains exams in 2023 it was during my drop year luckily I got 98 percentile on the first attempt but due to severe rank inflation this year I could not get the desired rank, went through Jac Delhi and was not satisfied with it so sat in jossa and got manit bhopal ee process was quite smooth and hassle-free even the physical reporting and verification went awesome. But just make sure to get your documents right as provided in the admission brochure and you will be done in an hour or two.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this because I wanted to opt for a reputed old college and didn't want to go less than an electrical branch so manit, SVNIT, etc. were my options but this time around manit has performed exceptionally well in terms of placements even electrical average in 2023 was a whopping 14.8 lpa and median 13.49. Regardless gender ratio is around 1:6 and the faculty is quite bad paired with a lot of restrictions and of course the ragging culture you're gonna be in a bit of a pain but still you'll start loving the college in just some time.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities here are also quite good more than 500 internships were offered in 2023 with stipends up to 1.5 lakhs and out campus you can get internships and most peeps manage to get PPO as well.
Placement Experience :
Placements here are awesome, especially in 2023 it became the top 4 nits in terms of placements. Moreover, the placement percentage is also quite good for the highest which is 82 lpa, and the average for overall btech is 15.89 lpa for ee is 14.8, and for beloved cse, it is around 25.5 lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees for btech above 5 lakh income category falls to approximately 8 lakhs inr including hostels and mess as per 2023 records which is really worth it in my opinion. In 1st year you're not going to go out much so you're definitely going to save which brings down your monthly expenses further scholships are plenty but majorly for under 5lakh income category and reserve category students especially girls but you have to be active in applying for grabbing scholarships.
Campus Life :
Annual fest here is Maffick not experienced yet but seeing the Janmashtami DJ night my expectations are quite high moreover library has a lot of books and soon it will be shifted to the LRCfrom the one in the old building which is a mess believe me. Amenities in classrooms are quite decent but no ac actually you don't need acs in manit thanks to the weather but compared to other nits the classrooms are really great.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are quite decent as well you get triple sharing for 1st years, and you'll get lan connection and a Wi-Fi connection as well. Coming to food it is actually not that great but yeah for 25000 a year you cannot expect much for reference iit delhi charges 36000 per semester, but breakfast and evening snacks are good. Hostels are easily available with no issue moreover they are really affordable it's 30000 with 5000 being refundable from this.
