Remarks :

Candidate must have passed the higher secondary or equivalent examination in the relevant stream. Candidates should not be older than 21 years as of 1st July. For SC/ST/MBC/DNC/BC candidates a 3-year relaxation and for physically challenged candidates a 5-year relaxation is offered in the age criteria. 31% of seats in the college are reserved for OBC, SC, ST, and physically challenged candidates as per the GOI guidelines.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am interested in computer science. especially faculty members are so good and very kind person and supportive. the faculty members are completing their Ph.D. and their teaching methods are easily understood and easy to write the exam. There are many lecturers.in our department, we have more than 10 lecturers with one head of the department. Everyone is so kind and the helping tendency is more. There are 6-semester exams for graduation.per year 2 semester exams. The syllabus is varied for all exams, then the college principal released the results on our college's official website.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 2646 per year

Placement Experience :

As it is an Arts and science college, Students are eligible for placements from 5 or 6 the semester. A placement cell is established to train and groom the students for the interview. Infosys, TCS, HCL, Wipro, Cognizant and 25 + companies were visiting the campus and 60% of the students were placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost of the course is 32k per year and the maximum cost of other courses is less than 40k per annually. The Institution offers many scholarships for the students such as 1. University Grant's commission Post Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship Scheme for single girl child 2.Govt. of India scholarship to Sc/ST students 3.National Merit Scholarship etc.

Campus Life :

Pongal festival is celebrated for 5 to 7 days and the campus is decorated in a 90's village theme there was a lot to explore and experience. Nearly 20 competitions were conducted for students and they were awarded for their participation. Availability of books in the library: 10,000 + books in different genres are available in the library. Besides referral books, Journals and Magazines are also available along with the digital library. 150+ classrooms were available on the campus Sports: The institution conducts sports every year in the time of February to March and the fest ends at 7.30 PM bus facilities are available for every student even at that time Many clubs based on Departments and social services are supervised by both teachers and students. Women's Day has a peculiar place in Fests. College, Talent shows are also conducted. Besides that, each department conducts its Department function once a semester. The Institution also has its official Facebook page.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I got good marks and I'm interested too. There is a batch method in our college like morning batch and afternoon batch. The morning batch time is 8.30 AM to 1.30 PM. The afternoon batch time is 2 PM to 5.15 PM .35 students studied in the morning batch and 37 people studied in the Afternoon batch. 30 faculty members worked in our department. Our faculties are well educated and graduates, and they hold PhD in their respective fields. Six months once one semester conducted, annually two Semesters conducted. There are Six semesters in Three years .it's slightly hard to clear the exams.

The pros and cons of GTN arts college

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester of a course, students are eligible for a campus interview. There are more companies visiting our students. The packages of the companies differ from one to another on average the package is 10 thousand. You have a good number of students placed on the campus. Other than that you can prepare for competitive exams.

WORTH IS BEING IN DG

Placement Experience:

We have to complete 6 semesters without any backlogs then we can be able to attend the campus placement. Here the top companies like TCS, Infosys, Accrucentre, E and Y, Cognizant, Scope International and more companies are here for placement. The companies with the highest package of 5.0 LPA were available and more students were placed in those companies every year. These companies provide us to continue with our Higher education after getting placed. About 50% to 60% of students were get placed every year in our college with a nice salary package. My plan after completing the degree is to go with a PG in abroad or in IIT. So I'm preparing for it. I'm also interested in going with group exams and I'm also preparing for it.
