Remarks :
My admission process was in online mode. I had to submit my 12th marksheet and percentage with personal details in the online form which was provided by CU. No, there wasn't any entrance exam in Maulana Azad College. Admission was granted on the basis of the percentage that I got in the class 12 board examination.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose sociology as a career because learning about society has always been intriguing for me and the complex mindset of people living in society has always been in my interest. My faculty members are quite helpful and friendly providing a healthy student-teacher relationship.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As it is a government college which is affiliated with CU, the fee structure is considerably very low, which is about 1250/- a year. My college however provides scholarship facilities to the ones interested in applying for it. However, it doesn't provide campus jobs.
Campus Life :
It is moderately good. Our infrastructure is not as fancy as a private college. However, it is worth it cause at the end of the day it's the reputation of the college which matters and not the infrastructure. It has a library and common room for boys as well as girls and separate gym rooms for both. The social life in college is healthy where students maintain social cohesion and a healthy relationship with each other.
