4 happy years of college life

Remarks :

The admissions process was online during my time as it was Covid time so we were asked to submit all the necessary details like jee score, 12th and 10th mark sheet, and on the basis of jee percentile I was allotted admission into the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is designed According to guidelines given by aicte body. I chose computer science because I am really passionate about this field. Talking about faculty 90% of them are Ph.D. holders and the remaining 10% are either pursuing their Ph.D. or are in a phase of completion. Faculty to student ratio is 1:30 for lab class and for lectures, the combined batch of 3 each having 30 students, so 1:90. 3 exams take place in a gap of 1.5 months each consisting of 15,25&35 marks respectively. To be honest it's really easy to clear these exams with 1 day of study prior to the exam.

Placement Experience :

Placement of the college is okayish. As we have pool campus placement our college has two sister campuses one is Jiit Noida and the other is Juet Guna. so all our placements are conducted on the Noida campus itself. A good amount of companies visit our campus like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, zscalar, interview-bit, and so on making an average package of 7LPA and the highest package of 45LPA on Amazon. Around 93% of students placed last year. The remaining ones either opted to pursue higher studies or prepare for govt exams. Talking about my plan I want to work for MNC for 2 years and then move to abroad to pursue higher education.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of the BTech courses is 110000 as of now but during Covid, our college gave a 12.5% discount. So it was very generous of them. There are scholarships for people belonging to defense forces and board toppers.

Campus Life :

Life is good and healthy on campus. Our campus is surrounded by lush green mountains which makes it healthy and peaceful to live. Talking about fests in our College two fests are held annually in the month of May and November. One is an annual cultural fest(impulse )and other tech fests (Murious) and the other one. Now the classroom is equipped with a projector screen in each classroom. Sports is not that well equipped there is only one ground and one basketball court and indoor synthetic badminton court. Club culture in college is good, there are 7 clubs consisting of tech, entrepreneurship clubs to events,s and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in computer programming so I chose this course in this college instead of other NITs. Here the faculty-student ratio id pretty good It's approximately 15:1. All the Faculty are PHD holders. They are young and have a passion for teaching. There are 2 CT exams which constitute the mid sem and one end sem also occurs. You have to study daily. There is regular assignment and projects given to students

Students get eligible for placements in 3rd year itself. The companies visited are Amazon, fantaclaus, etc. The highest package last year was 50 lakhs (off campus) by Amazon and the mean package was 6.5 lpa. 289 students have been placed in the last 5 years which makes 86%. My plan after getting the degree is to obviously get placed in a good company with a good package.

There is an internship semester in our college dedicated to internships where students have to do 5 months of internship (compulsory) to get their hands on on fieldwork and learn from industry experts. Amazon, Deloitte and many big companies like these visit our college during the placement drive The average package of all the branches combined was 15 LPA which is quite good and is expected to improve further in the coming years. Almost 90+ per cent of students get placed.
