Remarks :

The admission process is based on JEE MAINS and the 12th percentage. The application forms are available on the Thapar website and all the notifications regarding admission are also on the website. the cut-off list is also available on the website for online and offline counselling

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very specific to our course it's well organised and in the first year all the subjects are the same for all the branches and in the subsequent years the subjects are completely related to the branch and completely cover core subjects and the faculty members are great and very helpful. They are all very supportive.

Class Size : 200Course Fees : INR 200800 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are many internship opportunities available on campus you just need to work hard and you will get many internship opportunities on campus the average stipend will be 30k which is quite good and there is also a capstone project in the curriculum in the 7th semester so that students will also get benefit in there placements

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are good and many companies come to the campus the Thapar TPO works very hard to make sure each student will get placement and because of that more than 1700 students have there placement till now and students are allowed to sit in placement for 1 and half year. From 3rd year students are eligible to sit in placements

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee according to me is very high and everyone cannot afford it. Some students also take education loans to get admission to this university but there are many scholarship opportunities. There is a scholarship on the basis of cgpa every semester so many get the chance to take a scholarship and there are very good placement opportunities

Campus Life :

Life on campus is amazing. The infrastructure of Thapar is just great and the hostels are like 5-star hotels according to the fees of the college the facilities they provide are worth it the tech fest and the annual fest i.e. Saturnalia are great. it is conducted in the month of November and it is a day fest and many renowned people also come to perform. Thapar has a huge library it's amazing once you go there you never want to come back it's that amazing all the books are available there and the classrooms are very nice like theatre halls there are also many extracurricular activities going on and also a swimming pool there for students and many clubs are also there which are very valuable

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are great the hostel are just like hotels very higenic and the staff there is very nice taking about the meal and menu the menu is very very good the food is very tasty even now i miss my hostel mess and the hostel mess is running by sedexo and the service of sedexo is great and the registration process is also mentioned on the Thapar website

Hostel Fee : INR 80000 per year
