College- birdseye view (Unexpected experiences)

Remarks :

I applied for my admission during the COVID times so it was fully an online process which was very much convenient and comfortable . The only improve I would like is to reduce the time period of this whole procedure as it usually takes around 1-1.5 months which could be used effectively as student won't stay strucked just for the administration work.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Term exams / MST's were conducted on time every semester. These tests had a good amount of syllabus to cover & to prepare for .This thing is helpful as it reduces the syllabus left for finals . These term exams were of 50 marks everytime and had valid questions from syllabus covering the entire syllabus and units . The difficulty level can be marked as high as some of the questions were direct heading based from books and while others were not. Internal choise is provided in all the 3 sections of term exams which reduces the difficulty level of exams but proves to be a great help for students.

Internships Opportunities :

Didn't join any intership under college as no such opportunity was provided. So have no opinion regarding this and the offers and projects .however some seminars were conducted regarding job and career.

Placement Experience :

Right now I haven't attended placements yet . Students of final year are eligible for placements .I have no idea about the companies and offers but as heard from seniors there are offers from banks and other mid - size firms. I am planning to complete my CA course after graduating as I pursued both of them paralelly would like to sit for govt. / Bank Exams as well .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As it is a government College so fees rates and structure is decided centrally for all the colleges. The fees structure is very simple you have to paythe fees semester wise .eg - for Bcom course( 3years) there are total 6 semesters (2 semesters in each year ) that means fees is to be paid in 6 installments . This semester system proves very helpful and convenient for students as well as parents .unlike other colleges where you have to deposit full fees of 1 year at a single point. This brings relief to students and parents especially the middle class households who can't deposit the fees at once. Yes the college do have opportunities for campus jobs but me being in final year now would like to get more opportunities than the one at present times.improved is required for placements organization. The college provide n number of scholarships under various head both centralized and non centralized scholarships based on reservations , income , govt. Policy , girl child ,single child etc

Campus Life :

•annual fests of various departments are considered timely and are adjusted accordingly to various test and festival dates for eg. BIZFEST of commerce department,TECH fest of BCA dept. ,Joy of giving fest of English dept. HUM HAI society, etc. •library of the college is kept really well in terms of books availability and reading area .books of accademics as wel as all other geners are present in different different languages . Magazines , business papers, newspaper all are available. • classrooms are equipped with smart screens or curtains with blackboards along with lecture stands . Benches and sitting area is appropriate .the classrooms are spacy and are equipped with fans and projecter and ts cabinet alondwith Mike arrangements •various sports are there- yoga, Cricket, handball, boxing, NCC team, volleyball etc. •socities of various departments are there -blood donation , hum hai , mehfooz , literature and debate , management ,parvaaz society etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I completed my 12th through commerce stream and want to pursue CA as a profession, so that's why I chose BCom for graduation. The faculties of my college are superb and the student ratio is quite high. The syllabus is completed on time and after completion of the syllabus, we have MST and finals.

Placement Experience:

No placement was for students who scored below 60% marks in college. Placements were there for students who scored above 60% marks. I don't know what package the college offered them. Students get eligible after the final semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm a commerce student and I want to pursue commerce so bcom is the better option for me as I love accounts. And hons gives the specifications of the course. Students mostly pursue bcom after commerce in 12 or if they are not suitable with commerce in 12 they can change their course and take other courses like bba ba bca etc. Depending upon their preferences. In my college teachers are very well educated as almost every teacher has done their phd. Professors are selected only if they have a clear UGC NET.

Placement Experience:

From the fifth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. If a company came there it takes at least 5 to 6 students but with a minimum package of 3 to 4lacs per year. Only 15 to 20% of the students get placements after the campus requirement. Most students have planned after the completion of their degree either to opt for government services or for the master's degree after clearing CAT and they may opt for the teaching line after Ph.D.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I mentioned that I am a person who is doing BCom along with CA it's a great combination since I need not put any additional effort into starting it becomes a subject that is the main reason of choosing the subject. Since I am the first in my graduation from your soul so I will not be able to give the details when it comes to faculty-student ratios since we need not go to college for the start we are just there to give examinations and in the US soon there is semester system so in which year you have to give them your examination twice and it will depend upon the hard work of the student whether he studies or not since clearing b.com it's not that much heart if the student is studying well
