Beautiful campus IIITG

Remarks :

Admission is based on your joint entrance exam (jee) rank For SC/st scholarship will be provided Application for the joint entrance exam will be provided and conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) For my category cutoff for cse branch is 35k

Course Curriculum Overview :

College provides two courses ECE and CSE the better one is cse so I have chosen cse The faculty here holds a good graduation degree like they are mostly experienced and completed their PhD from top iit's Teaching will be good and interaction with faculty will also be good

Internships Opportunities :

Most of the internships will be provided by campus in 3rd year of b.techbut if you want any you can find in your college WhatsApp group which are private projects companies like tata and other software companies you can expect job or internship

Placement Experience :

Most of the students will get placed in campus placements the highest package offered was 1.2cr and I can see every year highest package offered will be above 60L per annum and average package here is 17L so it's good compared to all private institutions

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is somewhat high compared to Nit's which will also be allotted from the same exam but the placement we get consists of 20Lpa so college is good and affordable according to me I consider joining this college to be worth

Campus Life :

Campus Life is good we have fests like Entropy and Yuvan and also we can attend college fests of IIT Guwahati which is nearby. We participate in sports fests which are conducted by IIIT Guwahati named spirit

Hostel Facilities :

2 students per room will be allotted in hostels You can choose your room if u want a common bathroom or else attached bathroom Now talking about messy food it's ok As in from the southern part of India I feel the food here is not so spicy and no salt

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is quite good. we cannot disclose the name of the company visiting the campus because the training and placement cell of NIT SILCHAR did not allow us to disclose the names of the companies. My plan after getting my degree is to go through the UPSC exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I was interested in this course. Here the faculty-to-student ratio would be around 1:25 which is very good we can clarify our doubts by asking the faculty, the Qualification of the teaching method will mostly be the same, they are PhD, but their teaching experience plays a major role and their teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but it would be nice. Term exams would be around 5 months Difficulty in passing the exams depends on the faculty.

From the 6th sem onwards students are eligible for campus. As per the guidelines of the training and placement cell, the name of the company visited can't be disclosed. There are too many companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Almost all the students who are eligible for placements get placed with a good package.

Till now placement percentage is at a good level. From 6th semester students became eligible for placements. Most of the students get placed. From what I have heard short listing of candidates is based on cgpa basis. Skills are most important to go to software companies.

Placement Experience:

The placement season in the college is a very important one. Even before that, students get to do internships from 2nd year of BTech, providing them exposure to all kinds of companies and job sectors. All kinds of companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Uber make their way out here in search of bright minds capable of developing the companies further. They even provide the students with Pre Placement Offers, if their internship performance is commendable. The highest package goes upto above 2 crore INR per year, with average packages of above 25 lakhs INR per year. Above 85% of the students get placed in the end, with the others interested in higher studies. Nobody is left idle. My plans after BTech are to pursue a well paying job with a good working atmosphere.
