Remarks :

IIT are one of renowned engineering in INDIA. JEE ADVANCE is the entrance exam for the IITs. According to your ranking you will get course according to your preference. You can find the application for the JEE advance in NTA. This exam is conducted by IITs. Every year one IIT take responsibility to conduct the exam. I got Gen-EWS reservation to get into this college. This quota not that much better as OBC but It is better than General merits. It helps little bit. After the exam results, there around 6-7 round of counselling takes with takes around 2-3months to complete the process. I don't think any improvements needed in the admission process of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Now, I am in 3rd semester, and after getting into IIT the first semester the same for all the department students. Student start to study their department stuff in their 3rd semester. This course is pseudo-circuital. This course help you get placed. And you get extra time to explore many things. I think the subjects in the industrial department are real-life applicable subjects. Subjects are fun to study, and students who are interested in how the industries work all this stuff will enjoy the subject. Exams are not that hard not that too easy. If you study just 1 week before the exam, you can score average marks.

Internship opportunities at IIT Kharagpur can vary widely based on your field of study, department , and the companies that are recruiting from the campuse. The best way to get current and detailed information about interhsips is to consult your college's career sevices, check your department's notice, and visit the official college a website. Typically,companies accross various sectors sucha as technology,engineering,finance, and research offer internships to IIT Kharagpur students. These comapneis may include well-known names like Google,Microsoft,Tata Motors,Golaman Sachs, and many others. The roles offered can be diverse and depend on your major and interests. Common roles include software development, data, mechanical engineering, financial analysiss, and research positionss.

Placement Experience :

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. All MNCs that come to college offer very nice packages. Last time highest package was somewhere around 2 crores+. And the average package was somewhere around 16-20lakhs. Almost all the students get placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My income is less than 1 lakhs. If your income is less than lakh you can get rid of the paying college semester fees of 1lakhs for each semester. I don't get any scholarship. You are supposed to pay only your mess and hostel bills.

Campus Life :

Spring fest is the cultural annual fest organized by the student body. It is conducted in the month of January end. Kshitij is the Tech fest which is also a fest conducted by the student body. It is also conducted in the month end of January. The library is free for all you can get access to any books and journals at any time. Here you get a very good sports culture. There are all types of clubs and societies on the campus run by students.

Hostel Facilities :

Electricity, 24/7 wifi, water, and daily cleaning are provided in hostels. The meal quality is descent not so good not so bad. You can have it. Hostel registration is done by HMC. Hostels are affordable.

The Good college and very good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good on the campus GKCIET especially trains and encourages the students to sit for internships and placements. A student is eligible to sit for the internships at the beginning of the third and placements from the beginning of the third and placements from beginning of the final year .. a student can manage to get a PPO after completing the internship in the 3 rd which is also encouraged by the student. The other criteria regarding placements and intership are quite well-defined in the GKCIET

Yeah from 3rd year only, all the companies come to our college for the placement opportunity. The average placement percentage is around 70-80% in our college. There is also a team of members specially looking into the placement section. The highest package of our college is 51 LPA now

Placement Experience:

From 6th semister student become eligible for campus placement. The companies visited in my college are Tech Mahindra, Cognizant,Amazon,Byjus etc. In my college the highest package ranges around 22lpa and average page is around 3to4lpa. Every year in my college around 75 to 80% student get placements in top companies. My plan after getting the degree is to be placed in an top company.
