Remarks

I applied to various other colleges under scert like diets(govt aided) and other private aided and got admission in one of them but got late in physical reporting. So again I have to fill the college choices in counselling round and choose college according to the distance from my house, travel mode which is convenient and easily available. So choose this, and at physical reporting I got admission in it. My rank was 96 (gen-56) in scert exam for admission. Admission process for admission in the college is, first ,you have to give a cbt exam after applying for it on scert website, then there is physical reporting after the declaration of result and you are ready to get in admision based on your marks. And eligibility for this college is you must have cleared 12th class and given the exam conducted by scert.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

There is a batch of 50 students in a class. And in a course only 100 students allowed to enter in first year, so on this basis 2 classrooms are made of Section -A and B. So total strength in d.el.ed course in my college is 200(including first and second year, 100 each). It is only girls college so not girl boy ratio can be provided. There is cultural diversity in our class. People came form different regions, states and localities and from different religion too. Majority was from Delhi only but people came form Agra, Haryana, Punjab and many more states to learn here. My peer group was quite friendly. I made friends easily. The peer group was quite interactive and interesting. Yes peer learning take place in the classroom in groud discussion, peer observation and many other activities. Yes some students genuinely attend the classroom for learning something new everyday. Some only came for timepass as they that have the mentality that they will learn before exams only and they will pass .

Internships Opportunities

1.5

There are no intership opportunities (Summer Placements) provided by college. In 2021, it provided placement opportunities for the students after that no internship or placement opportunities. Although, it provides training in schools as provided in the curriculum (without stipendid) and gaining a good amount of experience in private and government schools both. In School Experience Program (SEP), we got to know about many things, we participated in various activities. As the course d.el.ed focuses main on teacher development, so I learnt various things like confidence, handling students, participation in activists, various works and many more. I am attaching photographs of my training in sep

Placement Experience

1.5

There is no placements provided by the college. In 2021, it organised a placement for final year students but didn't know the data of placement. It's wad conducted for Gitarattan public school placement. No everyone dost get placed. In 2024, no such things happens toh I can say that no placement is provided there. *Attaching the photo of SEP as there is no Placements done *

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fees for the private aided colleges in scert is ₹9375 for 4 months and it can be paid quarterly. So total fees for the year is ₹37500. And the fees of government aided colleges under scert, is much lesser than this, don't know the actual amount but may be within the range of ₹20000-25000. There is only tuition fees that has to be paid. And during exam time extra fees have to paid for exams once a year which is within the range of ₹1000-2000 depending on the choice of the subjects and number of subjects. Otherwise there is no other fees of hostel and others. If u want to opt for hostel you have to do it on your own and search for it. No the fees doesn't vary for categories, everyone has to pay the same fees. No college doesn't provide any scholarship but u can't opt them from outside sources and college will give relaxation on it after verification.

Campus Life

1.5

There are various sports facilities on campus like basketball court, tennis court and sports room with indoor games like carrom, table tennis and hoops. It also has various equipments for playing sports like tennis, badminton, basketball, football, hoops, dumbbells, chess board, Ludo. Yes the equipments are provided by colleges and you can also bring your own equipments like badmintons. No the college doesnt have gym and swiming pool. Auditorium is very big to cater 100-150 student with a smart class projector. It also has a big multipurpose hall where various programs and functions were held regularly. Also CC Activities were also conducted in multipurpose hall. The library is also good will all the facilities. We are provided with 2 card, so we can issue 2 books at a time for 7 days and return it to get your cards back. It has various books like of academics, novels, fictional and many more. The college campus was not big enough. Although it has school building attached to the college building. Most of the students travel through metro, buses, rickshaws and by their own vehicles. No, it is not allowed to keep your personal bike or car on campus. No hostels so no stay for relatives. Yes there are food joints outside the campus. The college campus is near a market if sec-7, so students can go after College there to eat. Although there is no canteen in college campus. Yes college has a medical centre in the basement near library. I don't think it is sufficient for everyone on the campus. There is no doctor, only nurse is present there.Overall campus life was okayish. After the class we enjoy I the class itself to get the period over. Actually we have a fixed time to leave the college at 4pm, so we can leave after that only whether there are classes or not. No nightlife as closes closest sharp at 4pm for students and as there is no hostels so neend to open after claases. Students can go out often between the college hours i.e. 9 AM to 4 PM. In campus you can hangout in garden in lunchtime and after classes i.e. 4 pm you can hangout outside College campus in nearby market and malls and various outlets. No nightlife, no hostels, so no need to roam outside the campus during the night. Cultural events are held at festivity time like Diwali, Holi, teacher's day, Ganesh chaturthi, Krishna Janmashtami, farewell, fresher's, orientation and many more. Fest also conducted here, but more of it can say inter college completions held over there. Although it is affiliated to ip so we can go to the ip colleges fests like the one happens in sovereign school. In this Miliaba performed in 2023. There are various clubs and committees in college. One was social media management, cr club , women empowerment, grevial society, bulletin board committee and cultural event committee. I applied for social media management but was not part of any. I think all of them plays a crucial roles in building a CV. But main of them could be social media management, if you want career in this, basically it depends on the role you will be applying, so overall it will help to build your cv. No, there isn't any international immersion programme offered by our college

Hostel Facilities

1.5

No service of hostel is available in the college or by the college. You have to search for pg near the college of your own. No cafeteria/college is there in the college. Although 1-2 year back there was canteen but it was closed due to construction. May be it will reopen soon. But u can order from outside before lunch so that it will come within the lunch time with due permission from incharge. No hostels available in the college premises. As I have previously mentioned no hoatel facility is available in the college. But can tell about the condition of college washroom in it. The washrooms are cleaned. It is cleaned in the morning and before the lunch time by assigned staff members. *I have uploaded the photo of library because it was mandatory to attach a picture and as there was no hostels in my College, so photos of hostel can't be attached*

Exam Structure

So talking about admission process, first you have to apply for the exam online on the scert website. The applications came in the month of April or May and then after acceptation of application, you will be alloted admit card before the exam. You have to gain good marks to achieve admission in d.el.ed or dose course because people from various states give this exam. The exams is conducted within 1-2 months after application. Then after the result, according to your rank and the choices of colleges filled in application form the college is alloted to you and you can freeze or float it according to your choice. And at last you have to physically report to the alloted institute for verification of documents and thus your admission is done in the d.el.ed colleges. And classes began right after your admission in September. The exams for this course is cbt that is conducted by scert and you have to apply for it within the range of time. The marks and rank is according to the score scored in both cbt exams and the 12th class exams. You must secure the hightest rank possible to gain the college of your choice. No there is no other way to get admission in this like management, quota or donation. It is done only through exam and the procedure described by them.

Placement Experience:

After the completion of final semester exams the final placement starts. It takes around a month for placement to officially get over. Around 10-15% students get final placement and the others don't. The college provides placement opportunity for many many years to ex students as well. The average ctc is around 3-4Lpa, the hightest is around 12Lpa and the lowest can go to 1-1.5 Lpa. Amazon, delloite etc are the most proffered ones don't know about their avg ctc. The placement committee has a strong role in guiding students and giving them opportunity in the placement drive of the college, it also provides many mock interview practices and expert counselling to know more about placements and yes the process is 100% transparent.

Placement Experience:

1. Placement Timeline: Final placements typically start in late January or early February and continue until the end of March. The process usually takes about two to three months to complete. 2. Placement Success Rate: While most students do get placed, about 10-15% may remain unplaced during final placements. To assist those unplaced, the college offers additional workshops, personalized mentoring, and access to companies that may not participate in the main placement drive. 3. CTC Offered: Average CTC: Approximately ₹6-8 LPA. Highest CTC: Can reach up to ₹20 LPA, especially from leading consulting and tech firms. Lowest CTC: Some students may accept offers around ₹3-4 LPA, particularly in smaller companies or startups. 4. Preferred Companies: Most preferred companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and various consulting firms like Deloitte and Accenture. The average CTC from these companies typically ranges from ₹6-10 LPA. 5. Bulk Hiring Companies: Companies like Cognizant, TCS, and Wipro are known for bulk hiring. These companies generally offer average CTCs of around ₹6-8 LPA. 6. Role of the Placement Committee: The placement committee is responsible for coordinating the placement process, inviting companies, conducting mock interviews, and providing guidance to students. While the process is generally transparent, some students feel that it could be improved, particularly regarding information sharing about job roles and company profiles. Overall, transparency is moderate but could benefit from clearer communication.
