Remarks

During my Counseling,I was getting REC Sonbhadra and REC Kannauj. I chose REC kannauj because it has got experienced Faculty from IIT and NIT. Also, the infrastructure abd other facilities were the reason why i opted for this college. Initially the admissions were done by the marks obtained in UPSEE Examinations. But now, JEE Mains ranks are considered. You can easily get admission in this college even if your rank is 1,00,000+ in JEE Mains through JOSAA counseling. The admission process is in offline mode only. So, you'll have to visit the campus to get the registration done for the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

About 60 students are seated in one class. 10-13 girls students are there in the class of 60-70 students. Most of the students are the domicile of U.P . No marks for participation in class. Students attend the class for learning the subject in extensive way.

Internships Opportunities

Hostel and mess fees is same for all. Students can easily get scholarship based on their family income from UP Govt. Scholarship Program. Each year about 70% students are the beneficiaries of the scholarship.

Indoor games are available in hostel. Ground for outdoor games. Auditorium is under construction. Library is well equipped with standard books and easily accessible. College campus is not that big. From hostel to campus it is a 3 min walk. Personal bike and scooty are allowed in the campus. Most students prefer e rickshaw for travelling. Relatives can visit and stay over night in guest house. Separate hostels for boys and girls. One hostel for girls and 4 hostel for boys. Hostel allotment is first come first serve basis. Hostel fees is 14,000 for 1 year for all students. Hostel gate closes at 7pm and opens at 6 am. Students are not allowed to leave hostel after timings. Mess fees is 16,500 for 6 months. No cafeteria in hostel. Food quality is mediocre. Menu changes after 2-3 months. Hostels are guarded 24*7. 3 seater rooms for girls. Boys have 3 seater or 1 seater option. Facilities like geyser, almirah, study table, chairs and bed are provided by the hostel. There is one common room in all the hostel which is used for organizing activities and also for study purpose. Faculty

The course is difficult, for commerce student, 1st sem was easy because the subjects were same as the 12th class, 2nd sem was average difficult but students failed in both sem. Good aspects, practical and theory goes side by side, bad aspects, management students has to do coding in python for 3rd sem which becomes very difficult. 2 sem end exams only One is may and one in December Almost 5 lectures a day and usually in higher sems, we don't get free time Teaching methodology is traditional only from books and assignments are also with traditional method. I admire my faculty for economics as they have complete knowledge of their subjects, students had a great result in eco subject The mandatory attendance is 67.7 percent. If we fail to do so, its a bond filling process

Final placement starts in November and goes upto February. Most of the batch gets placed . For the ones which don't get placed college tries to help them out with references through alumni. Average CTC was 17.35 LPA last year, median was 16LPA. BFSI and IT/ITES are the most preferred. Placement committee helps the students in getting placed and they try to keep the process as transparent as possible. The faculty advisor for the placements also helps in the same.

Placement Experience:

Final placements usually start around January. It takes about 2 weeks for the process to finish. Placements are 100% every year. CTC can range from 17LPA, with an average of 30LPA to 65L domestic and 1.3Cr in international offers. Placement process is transparent as most of it is conducted by students themselves and the placement committee works hard to ensure every student is placed.
