The college has a vast ground for sports like cricket and basketball with a well maintained pitch and timely trimming of the grass. Goal posts are also present for football at the extremities of the ground providing a vast playing field suitable for professional events. There is also a dedicated basketball court(outdoor) as well as grounds with nets for volleyball and badminton. The necessary equipment such as balls, bats, and other miscellaneous equipment are readily available in the dedicated sports room. The college also has a gym with basic weight training equipment like machines and dumbbells and it is open to students during the SPORTS hour. The auditorium is one of the main highlights of the college, Providing ample and comfortable seating for students with air conditioning and industry standard speakers and projectors for presentations and events. It can seat approximately 350-400 students at a time excluding the seating for professors. The library is vast and very neatly maintained. It spans over two floors and strict guidelines regarding the condition of the books borrowed ensures that all the available material is always in a neat and tidy condition whenever borrowed. The library has all the books from First till Final year and in sufficient numbers so that the students do not face a shortage. A book search service is provided in the student portal. The college spans over several acres and student accommodation while not directly provided, Is within a short radius of the college thanks to many third party hostels in the area. Most students prefer College transportation whereas others use public transport like City Bus and share autos operating in the region. Students are permitted to bring bikes which can be parked outside alongside the perimeter as well as a dedicated parking inside the campus for both bikes and cars. There are a few restaurants within a walking distance from the campus where students can go for snacks and meals after hours. The college also has a juice center as well as fast food stalls on-site. The college does have a dedicated medical center run by well qualified nurses and is equipped with necessary first aid and medicines to respond effectively to any mishaps.Overall, The campus life is pleasant. The lush greenery provides a relaxing break after a day of classes. The professors and management do a good job to not stress students out too much with overbearing workload. Since the college gates close by 6PM, Students and faculty typically go back to their residences. Within the campus the ground and the cafeteria are the two hotspots where students meet in free time. The weather is often breezy and with benches everywhere, It is a calm place for students to decompress after a long day of classes. The campus is surrounded by family housing in the immediate area with gated communities being a 10-15 minute walk from campus, The area is generally safe, However, Caution must be exercised at night due to absence of street lights which may lead to someone tripping and falling into the tall grass. There are no clubs as of now. There is no facility for international students. The college is a favorite spot for movie direction, With celebs like Naga Chaitanya, Vishvak Sen, Minakshi Choudhary having visited the college. The college has an Annual Day and a Cultural Day. Annual day is a mostly evening to night event with famous singers like Ram Miriyala having attended the event to perform.
There is no college specific examination conducted per se, All the enrolled students either secure the seat with their EAMCET rank or Management Quota. For students planning on securing the seat via EAMCET, Upon receiving their rank, They must first shortlist the college in their list. Upon successful shortlisting of the candidate, They are required to have documents like Aadhar Card, 10th Marksheet, Intermediate Marks Memo, Transfer Certificate etc. verified from the nearest verification center of which they will be informed in advance, A list of verification centers will be sent to the candidate. Post successful verification, The candidate must take 3 xerox copies of each document and arrange them in an order specified by the college and reach the college. Now, The candidate must head to the department under which they have secured a seat and pay a small department specific seat after discussing the details with the staff. For example: If the results for EAMCET were released 25-08-2022, The counselling process and admission were concluded 10-09-2022, So an approximate duration for the admission process would be about 2 weeks. Classes commenced on 02-11-2022 so the total time from declaration of results till commencement of classes is about 69 days or approximately 2 months. For a General student, A decent rank to aim for to secure a seat in Computer Science Engineering at Sreyas Institute of Engineering and Technology would lie in the range of 24,000 to 30,000 however a higher percentile is always helpful. Management Quotas exist but are limited in number, Specific and current details regarding costs are always changing but an average range is 1.65L- 2.2L for a seat in Computer Science Engineering. College authorities need to be contacted for this mode of admission for the latest prices and processes.
We have sports facilities both indoor and outdoor such as badminton, basketball, football, lawn tennis and table tennis facilities. We have a fully equipped gym, open at all times. We have well equipped library and auditorium and we have access to third party resources via the library. The campus is 14 acres big and hostel and academic building are not too far off so students just walk to classes every day. Personal vehicles are not allowed on the campus premises. Relatives can visit for a few hours but cannot stay overnight on campus. There are no other food joints apart from the nescafe and the cafeteria. Yes the college has a doctor on campus every day for a few hours and ambulance at all times. The campus life is fun and flexible. The nightlife is lively especially when there are events going on. The cafeterias are open till 5 am every day. Students are always roaming around the campus 24*7. Students go out of the campus very often. Outside the college we have some tea stalls where students usually hangout and there is a small mall and a few cafés nearby. Inside the campus, students hangout around the sports ground or in the cafeteria. Roaming outside the campus at night is not very safe in Ghaziabad. We have our college Fest named Passion, and cultural events such as Holi, dandiya night, freshers and farewell and many more. The campus is lit up during these events. Some celebrities such as Akhil Sachdeva have come on campus to perform in the past and we’ve also had standup comedians such as Biswa join us. Major club committees include the Placement committee, student council, academic committee, the PR committee, admissions committee, mess committee, cultural committee, sports committee and some clubs are enactus, marketing club, etc. I’m currently not a part of any club/committee but during first year I was a part of the PR committee of the college. These club/committees help students with honing there soft skills and are helpful for CV pointers as well. Yes the college also has student exchange programs, students went to France as a part of the exchange. Around 20 students took part in this exchange and about 5-10 lacs was the money spent based on how much everyone could possibly spend
Usually about 40-50 students are seated in a class. The total strength of my specialisation is around 350-400. The gender ratio for girls:boys for my batch is 30:70 and it’s the same across all specialisations as well. The class is culturally very diverse with people from different religions, regions, backgrounds. We have students from almost every state starting from Jammu to Tamil Nadu to Assam and Gujarat and even states such as Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradhesh etc. Major population is from northern parts of the country. The peer group is very diverse in terms of the work experience and their previous educational experience. There is a lot peer learning happening in classes especially because we have special marks associated to class participation in every subject. I have mixed view on the fact that students genuinely attend classes for learning. Some students just attend classes to get through the course without a grade loss but the ones who regularly attend and participate in class are the ones truly there to learn.
The course is difficult, for commerce student, 1st sem was easy because the subjects were same as the 12th class, 2nd sem was average difficult but students failed in both sem. Good aspects, practical and theory goes side by side, bad aspects, management students has to do coding in python for 3rd sem which becomes very difficult. 2 sem end exams only One is may and one in December Almost 5 lectures a day and usually in higher sems, we don't get free time Teaching methodology is traditional only from books and assignments are also with traditional method. I admire my faculty for economics as they have complete knowledge of their subjects, students had a great result in eco subject The mandatory attendance is 67.7 percent. If we fail to do so, its a bond filling process

From hostel to campus it is a 3 min walk. Personal bike and scooty are allowed in the campus. Most students prefer e rickshaw for travelling. Relatives can visit and stay over night in guest house. No other food joints other than canteen. College have a small dispensary. Not much things to do in campus. There's no Nightlife in campus. No spots to hangout. Not safe to hang out outside in night. Utkrida and aagman are the major fests. No clubs and committee. No international programs for students.

1. The academic rigor is quite high. There are continuous evaluations and presentations which keep the students on their toes and they get little time to relax during the course. Generally students do not fail unless they perform miserably. Also there are makeup exams to help the students pass even if they score an F. 2. Good aspect is that the curriculum keeps students on their toes. Little time to relax helps student learn time management and how to prioritize things accordingly. Bad aspect is sleep cycle gets disturbed a lot but eventually this prepared for the trough situations that you might face in corporate later on. Eventually time management is the key. 3. 3 end term exams and multiple quizzes as there is continuous evaluation 4. Generally on average 4 classes take place every day in 1st year. In 2nd year the average number of classes decreases considerably. Timings are quite varied but they happen in the 8:30 AM to 9 PM slot. Apart from classes people might get free time as per their preferences as most of the students are involved in club/committee. project work post classes. 5. Mostly teaching methodology is case study based. 6. I admire Abhishek Sir of Marketing and Prantosh Sir of Strategy as they both have their unique styles of teaching which generally resonated a lot with the masses. 7. The mandatory attendance rule is of 80% for each subject. If you don't fulfill the attendance criteria you get a grade loss.

The course curriculum is quite easy, not so difficult. It was prescribed by scert itself. Yes students do fail in the exams. Good aspects of this course are you gain knowledge, skills, confidence to speak, participate in various activities and social interaction too. It also provide hand on experience by giving 30-35 days training in school. The bas aspect is, it is also based on the the old school education system to give exams which I personally don't like and u have to submit various files of all subjects. Although it is a good practise to gain the experience but it is somewhat burdensome. There are 3 exams conducted in a year- 2 internals and 1 term end with 10 subjects each. 8 classes take place usually in a day with 45-50 minutes each. As such no free time is given except lunch break which is of 20-25 minutes. Every teacher has its own methodology to teach. Some use lecture method, some uses discussion method and some uses demonstration method according to the topic and subject. I personally admire all the faculties as they do work wholeheartedly to teach us. All the teachers are best according to my opinion. Yes there is a mandatory attendance rule. You have to maintain atleast 75 percent attendance in a year to qualify for the exams. If you don't fulfill the criteria, then you have to come to colleges in preparatory leaves to complete the attendance. Yes I have seen students coming to college because of short of attendance. And regularly or monthly, students were given short of attendance forms to get it signed by parents and they have to secure the 75 percent criteria of attendance.

Yes college has a medical centre in the basement near library. I don't think it is sufficient for everyone on the campus. There is no doctor, only nurse is present there.Overall campus life was okayish. After the class we enjoy I the class itself to get the period over. Actually we have a fixed time to leave the college at 4pm, so we can leave after that only whether there are classes or not. No nightlife as closes closest sharp at 4pm for students and as there is no hostels so neend to open after claases. Students can go out often between the college hours i.e. 9 AM to 4 PM. In campus you can hangout in garden in lunchtime and after classes i.e. 4 pm you can hangout outside College campus in nearby market and malls and various outlets. One was social media management, cr club , women empowerment, grevial society, bulletin board committee and cultural event committee. I applied for social media management but was not part of any. I think all of them plays a crucial roles in building a CV. But main of them could be social media management, if you want career in this, basically it depends on the role you will be applying, so overall it will help to build your cv. In my opinion no course is easy or hard rather it depends on the interest of the particular which he/ she possess. I am doing Bachelor's of Commerce and I find it interesting and exciting so I am happy doing it. I would say B.Com in today's world has a wide scope as commerce is leading the world now.I would suggest that anyone with less mathematical knowledge or no interest in business shouldn't opt for this field. There are 2 semester exams in a year in which there are 3 internal test in each semester. The two internal are written test and the other is an assignment. The best of two among these three is considered and taken. The class timings are from 9.30 am to 3pm and almost all the classes happens everyday. The faculties of the college is literally the best. I admire Sir Tenzing Norbu, Ma'am Jasmine Kimsing, Dr. Raju Goyary as they have been the best teachers I have come across till date. There is a very strict rule for the attendance as the management is very particular about it. The minimum required percentage is 75% to appear in both the internal as well as the Semester exams. If one doesn't fulfill the criteria he/she gets barred from writing the exams.
As I already mentioned the infrastructure is good college have all current facilities which is necessary for students. Projector classrooms, lift for the safety purpose college have 1 PCR van always on duty. Plenty of parking spaces For entry students must have id card which are embedded chip for authentication college canteen area quit small as compared to volume of students For ug students college do have parties and events, society events and fest organised by authorities But for the pg students there is no much activities accept for the 1-2 event that sports day only plus workshop, and industrial visit that parale factory and cocca cola factory
The campus has a basketball and a volleyball court in addition to a lot of sport equipments. The college also has a personal gym which is named as 'Bosco Gym' which can be availed by the intersted ones. The college campus is not too big nor too small. The college is situated in Jollang which is distant from the capital region i.e. Itanagar. Mostly people coming from far areas travel by college bus and hostellers come by walking as the hostels are situated at a walking distance from the college. It is not allowed to keep the students personal bikes and cars inside the campus bht outside there is a place assigned for the same . Relatives are not permitted to come for a nightstay in the college campus. Apart from the central canteen, there is a canteen outside the campus nearby the college. The college doesn't have a medical centre but it runs a medical and health club where the participants are trained regarding basic medical care and first aid.The overall campus life is good. Most students after classes go to their home or hostels. The nightlife of the college is just like home with strict rules and regulations. Nobody is supposed to roam or go outside the campus at night. The locality is somewhat safe but to be on the safer side, the management doesn't allows to go anywhere at night. The major fests and cultural events are the celebration of 'cultural day cum food feast ' , Nyokum celebration and Christmas celebration. There are a number of clubs and committees in the college like health club , literary club, library club, eco club and more. I am the part of music club. NCC and NSS are the most important for students in terms of value addition as it
Regarding fees, during admission for the first year the admission fee along with the first installment needs to be paid which is around Rs 30,000. There are other two installments of Rs 5000 each which needs to be paid in the month of October and November. I think the fee structure is pretty decent as compared to other private colleges in India. Aparat from this, if anyone is coming from a distant area then the college bus service can be availed which is Rs 7000-8000 per Semester. The college help in getting the scholarships of state which is for the Scheduled Caste people. The college also offers other scholarship program of its own like 90% and 100% attendance scholarship, beti bachao beti padhai award, and more.
The course curriculum is easy since it is simplified and made available to the student through the school website. The good aspects of my course is the lab work where we get to interact directly with what we were taught in class . Every year we do two main exams since we have two semesters per year . Per semester we do midterm exams and main exams. In a day class around 5 to 6 depending on the number of subjects you do. The timing is from 9- 5 in the evening. Free time is at 1 oclock during lunch break and on the weekends when there is no lectures. The teaching methodology is that we have class work which is oral then lab work where we get hands on what we where taught in class. I admire the labs, since most government schools don’t have labs and in my university we have a functional lab. I don’t admire the washrooms since most of them are dirty. The attendance rule is that you are supposed to have 75% minimum attendance.
This year students faced open counseling. Jee is preferred over ever other exam, Jee percentile should be above 60 percentile to get cse and over 40 to get ECE. They don't take any interview. When you fill application form, you will have to submit your jee and 12th marksheet, on that basis they out the selection list and if you get selected they send you an offer letter and ask some documents to get it ready by n date. Documents like NOC, Migration certificate, drop year certificate. There are no quota offered. Sometimes donation works, like it's common if you give donation you can easily get admission.
For my admission ,I first applied online through ICCR scholarship. Through the website you submit all the documents like you education transcripts, passport and medical report. Then you select the course you want to do and pick 5 schools. The mission will submit your documents to those schools and if any of them accepts your admission you will pick one if they are more than two . The mission will pay for your flight ticket to the school then the school will give you all the required documents to fill and submit. ICCR scholarship will pay for the admission process and the school fees directly to the school if your admission is completed successfully. Like for GNDU , they have an office that deals directly with the students and the admission process making it easy to be admitted since they do most of the work.
The university has a field for football basketball and volleyball. The is also auditorium where events and seminars are conducted. Each department has a library and also there is a main library which has all the books. Yes it is allowed to have personal bike or a car in the university. Relatives can visit but they will have to book and pay for the guest room . There are other food joints like coffee house and snacks joint The school has a medical centre which is well equipped and it is always open .The overall campus life is great. Most students play games like cricket during there free time or go to gardens to relax. Most cafeterias are open till late night at 10. The locality is safe to walk around at night cause there are police men on the roads .
The course curriculum is not easy for some of the students, as some of the students fails in the examination. Some good aspects of my course is, it is easy for many students that they don't fail in the examinations but bad aspect is, some might fail due to logical questions. There are mainly 8 exams in a year in my course as per 4 exams each semester. There are 6 classes per hour we need to take everyday with 5 minutes of break after every class. The teaching methodology is very poor in our college, as some teachers don't know how to teach and discipline the class. There was a teacher names Anju Mam, she was the only teacher I admired and she taught everything very easily and practically so every student passes in her exam. There is a mandatory attendance rule in our college that is to have a maximum of 75% of attendance each student. If we fail to fulfil that rule we needed to pay the fine of ₹100 per percentage.
Sports facilities is average you have only kabaddi and kho - kho to play. There is no basketball court. There is Gym but it is not used. Library is also small. The campus is very small. The hostel is at backside of college It will take 2-3 minutes to reach hostel from college. There are food stalls is available like Amul and Nescafe. There is a medical room. Overall it's average. Don't know because I am not a hotel student. They often go After 7 pm not allowed to go outside the campus In annual fest the Punjabi singer AKHIL was invited The placement cell of DRC is good for CV Student can opt to go other colleges of North campus to study SEC, VAC, AEC.
Students do fail in internals if didn't performed well. The bad aspects of my course is it requires a bundle of soft skills which is very different for an introvert and a good aspect about MBA is tha it's more practical course it's not based on study and study . In a year there are total 18 exams including viva and external exams. The teaching method of the every teacher is different from other ,the practical subjects teacher example statistics teacher prefer smartboard marker to make students understand whereas the theoretical subject teacher teaches the lessons via ppt or pdf through smart board. The faculty that admires me the most is my coordinator, he's so supportive and understanding. The total no. Of classes in a day are 6 each of 50minutes and there's 30 minutes luch break . 75% attendance is mandatory for students in each subject as every teacher take their own attendance and if the student fail to acquire 75% attendance then his /her internal marks are deducted.
The sports facility are good in our college as there are many sports that can be played in sports events. The college doesn't contain a gym. The auditorium and library are also well maintained as they are the mostly shown places in the college. No, relatives cannot visit us for a night stay as the college don't have any guest rooms for relatives. The overall campus life is boring, many students just take classes and go home or respective hostels and just sleep. The nightlife of the college is worse many students peek out of their hostels and just roam here and there without permission. The locality is not safe for girls to roam freely outside the campus. There are no student exchange or international immersion of any student.
The course curriculum is quite easy, not so difficult. It was prescribed by SCERT itself. Yes students do fail in the exams if not secured minimum marks. There are 3 exams conducted in a year-2 internals and 1 term end with 10 subjects each. If you don't fulfil the criteria, then you have to come to colleges in preparatory leaves to complete the attendance. Yes I have seen students coming to college because of short of attendance. And regularly or monthly, students were given short of attendance forms to get it signed by parents and they have to secure the 75 percent criteria of attendance.
My post graduation fees is 2.50 lakh for two years and this is average fees in comparison to other colleges. The total fees I'm paying is 3lakh in which 50,000 is of transport expenses( 25000 per year for bus). The fees do not vary for different categories but the scholarship does . The scholarship is not given to the general category students this is why I'm not eligible for filling scholarship form. The other colleges provide scholarship to every category but in my college the general category students are not permitted to apply for scholarship. The average scholarship that other category students get from my college is about 52000-55000 per year.
There are various sports facilities on campus like basketball court, tennis court and sports room with indoor games like carom, table tennis and hoops. It also has various equipment for playing sports like tennis, badminton, basketball, football, hoops dumbbells, chess board, Ludo. Yes the equipment are provided by colleges and you can also bring your own equipment like badmintons. The college doesn't have gym and swimming pool. Auditorium is very big to cater 100-150 student with a smart class projector. It also has a big multipurpose hall where various programs and functions were held regularly. Also CC Activities were also conducted in multipurpose hall. The library is also good with all the facilities. We are provided with 2 card, so we can issue 2 books at a time for 7 days and return it to get your cards back. It has various books like of academics, novels, fictional and many more. The college campus was not big enough. Although it has school building attached to the college building. Most of the students travel through metro, buses, rickshaws and by their own vehicles. It is not allowed to keep your personal bike or car on campus. No hostels so no stay for relatives. There are food joints outside the campus. The college campus is near a market of sec-7, so students can go after College there to eat. Although there is no canteen in college campus. Yes college has a medical centre in the basement near library. I don't think it is sufficient for everyone on campus. There is no doctor, only nurse is present there.Overall campus life was okayish. After the class we enjoy I the class itself to get the period over. Actually we have a fixed time to leave the college at 4pm, so we can leave after that only whether there are classes or not. No nightlife as closes closest sharp at 4pm for students and as there is no hostels so need to open after classes. Students can go out often between the college hours i.e. 9 AM to 4 PM. In campus you can hangout in garden in lunchtime and after classes i.e. 4 pm you can hangout outside College campus in nearby market and malls and various outlets. No nightlife, no hostels, so no need to roam outside the campus during the night. Cultural events are held at festivity time like Diwali, Holi, teacher's day, Ganesh Chaturthi, Krishna Janmashtami, farewell, fresher's, orientation and many more. Fest also conducted here, but more of it can say inter college completions held over there. Although it is affiliated to IP so we can go to the IP colleges for fests like the one that happens in sovereign school. In this Milind Gaba performed in 2023. There are various clubs and committees in college. One was social media management, cr club, women empowerment, grevial society, bulletin board committee and cultural event committee. I applied for social media management but was not part of any. I think all of them plays a crucial roles in building a CV. But main of them could be social media management, if you want career in this, basically it depends on the role you will be applying, so overall it will help to build your CV. There isn't any international immersion programme offered by our college.
1. Course Curriculum - Difficulty Level: The curriculum is moderately difficult, balancing theoretical knowledge and practical applications. While the subjects are manageable if you stay consistent, students do fail in exams, especially in subjects like Mathematics, Data Structures, or core engineering subjects where the concepts can be challenging. Passing isn’t that tough, but excelling requires effort, especially since many subjects rely on rote learning rather than deep conceptual understanding. 2. Good and Bad Aspects of the Course: Good Aspects: The curriculum offers a solid foundation in core subjects. For engineering students, courses like Computer Science or Electronics are well-structured. Practical Labs: They provide hands-on experience, which is crucial in fields like engineering. Bad Aspects: Outdated Syllabus: Some parts of the syllabus haven’t been updated for years, especially when it comes to new industry trends and emerging technologies. Lack of Practical Exposure: Though labs are present, they often feel disconnected from real-world applications, and the practical exposure could be improved. 3. Exams per Year: There are typically 2 major exams per year, known as the End Semester Exams (for both odd and even semesters). In addition, there are mid-term exams (internal assessments) and regular assignments/projects that contribute to your final score. 4. Class Schedule and Free Time: Classes per Day: Generally, there are 4 to 6 classes a day, each lasting about 1 hour. Timings: Classes usually start at 9 AM and can go up to 4 or 5 PM, depending on your schedule and lab sessions. Free Time: After classes, students have a decent amount of free time in the evening, though this may vary based on assignments, projects, or exam preparation. Weekends are usually free unless there are extra classes or workshops. 5. Teaching Methodology: The teaching style varies greatly depending on the faculty. Some professors rely heavily on PowerPoint presentations and dictate notes, while others engage students with interactive sessions and practical examples. Unfortunately, many faculty members focus more on theory than practical application, which can be frustrating for students who prefer hands-on learning. 6. Admired Faculty Members: Prof. S.K. Sharma (Mathematics): He was one of the most engaging teachers, simplifying complex concepts in an easily digestible way. Prof. Anil Gupta (Electronics): His passion for the subject and ability to relate theory to real-world scenarios made him stand out. 8. Mandatory Attendance Rule: Yes, there’s a mandatory attendance rule. Students are required to maintain at least 75% attendance in each subject. If you fall below the required attendance, you could be barred from taking the end-semester exams, which is a serious issue. However, in practice, some leniency is shown, and students with 60-70% attendance are often let off with warnings or additional assignments. But I’ve seen people being denied exam entry due to low attendance, especially if they repeatedly flout the rule.
1. Sports Facilities: Outdoor Sports: Facilities include football, cricket, basketball, and badminton courts. There’s also a track for athletics. Indoor Sports: The college has indoor badminton and table tennis facilities. Equipment: Basic sports equipment is provided by the college, but students often bring their own for personal preference and quality. 2. Gym Facilities: Yes, the college has a gym that is accessible to students. Facilities include standard gym equipment like weights, cardio machines, and benches. The facilities are generally sufficient for regular workouts. 3. Swimming Pool: The campus has a swimming pool, which is separate for boys and girls. Students typically access the pool during specific hours, with time slots allocated to each gender. It’s quite popular, especially during the warmer months. 4. Auditorium and Library: Auditorium: The auditorium is well-equipped for lectures, workshops, and events, with good acoustics and seating. Library: The library is spacious with a wide selection of books. Access: Most academic books are easily accessible, and the library has a good collection of reference materials. Timings: The library is usually open from 8 AM to 8 PM. Research Databases: Yes, students have access to third-party databases like IEEE, Springer, and JSTOR for research and projects. 5. Campus Size and Distance: The campus is relatively large, covering several acres, with a mix of academic and residential blocks. The distance from the hostels to the academic block is about 10-15 minutes of walking. Most students travel on foot or use bicycles for convenience. 6. Personal Vehicles: Yes, students are allowed to keep their personal bikes or cars on campus. However, parking space is limited, so it’s better to arrive early. 7. Visitor Arrangements: Relatives can visit students on campus, but overnight stays are generally not allowed in hostels. There might be provisions for guest houses or nearby accommodations, but students need to check with hostel management. 8. Food Options: Apart from the central canteen/cafeteria, there are a few other food joints and kiosks around the campus, offering snacks and quick meals. These are popular among students for variety. 9. Medical Center: The college has a medical center that is equipped to handle common health issues. While it’s sufficient for basic needs, it may not be equipped for major medical emergencies. The staff includes qualified doctors and nurses, and there’s a protocol for referring patients to nearby hospitals if necessary.1. Overall Campus Life: Campus life is quite vibrant, with a mix of academic focus and extracurricular activities. After classes, most students engage in group studies, sports, or hang out at the cafeteria. Many also participate in clubs and events, fostering a sense of community and involvement. 2. Nightlife: The nightlife at GGSIPU is relatively low-key. Cafeterias typically close by 9 or 10 PM, so there isn’t much happening late at night. While you might see a few students roaming around, the campus isn’t buzzing with activity after dark, as most head back to their hostels. 3. Going Out: Students often venture out on weekends or during breaks. Major hangout spots include local eateries, shopping malls, and cafes in Dwarka and Janakpuri, which are nearby. Outside campus, popular spots for students include Dilli Haat and Connaught Place, where they can enjoy good food and shopping. 4. Local Safety: The locality is generally safe for students to roam outside during the day. However, it's advisable to be cautious and travel in groups during the night. 5. Major Fests and Cultural Events: The college hosts several fests, including tech fests, cultural fests, and sports events. Events like "Sankalp" and "Techfest" are quite popular. The campus vibe during these events is energetic and festive, with lots of participation. Recent fests have featured performances by celebrities like Shankar Mahadevan and Pritam. 6. Clubs and Committees: There are various clubs and committees focused on different interests, including cultural clubs, technical clubs, and sports committees. I am part of the Marketing Club, which focuses on various marketing strategies and real-world applications. 7. Important Clubs for CV Value: The Placement Committee and Cultural Committee are considered the most valuable for CV pointers, as they provide significant exposure and networking opportunities. 8. International Programs: Yes, the college offers international immersion programs and student exchange options with universities in countries like the USA, UK, and Canada. Students often prefer programs in universities that are renowned for their specific courses, such as University of California for tech programs. Around 10-20 students typically opt for these programs each year. There is usually an extra fee associated with these exchanges, which varies depending on the partner university.
1. Application Process: Start of Application: The application form for IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test) is usually released in March or April. Application Deadline: Typically, students have around a month to apply, with the deadline falling in April or May. 2. Entrance Exam (IPU CET or JEE Mains) IPU CET: GGSIPU used to conduct its own Common Entrance Test (CET) for many courses, including B.Tech. However, for engineering, JEE Mains scores are now the primary consideration. Preferred Exam: For B.Tech admissions, JEE Mains has become the most preferred exam. Most students focus on securing a good rank in JEE Mains to improve their chances. For non-engineering courses, IPU CET is still the key. Safe Score/Rank for JEE Mains: A rank below 80,000 in JEE Mains generally gives a good chance for branches like CSE, IT, and Electronics in GGSIPU’s top affiliated colleges. For less competitive branches (like Civil or Mechanical), ranks up to 1,50,000 may still land a seat. 3. Counseling Process: Start of Counseling: Once the entrance exam results are announced (usually by June for JEE Mains or July for IPU CET), the university opens its counseling portal in July or August. Counseling Rounds: There are typically 3 rounds of counseling where students are allotted seats based on their rank, preferences, and availability of seats. First Round: Students submit their preferences for colleges and branches. Second Round: After the first allotment, students have the option to either accept the seat or wait for a better option in the next round. Third Round: The final round for seat allocation, after which students must secure their admission by paying the required fees. Document Verification: After the seat allotment, students are required to verify their documents online. This process usually happens in August. Spot Round: If seats remain vacant, a spot round is conducted in September, giving a last chance for students to grab any available seats. 4. Commencement of Classes: Classes for first-year students generally begin in September or October, depending on the completion of the admission process and the course timeline. The academic calendar is released by the university closer to the starting date. 5. Management Quota and Other Admission Methods: Management Quota: Some of GGSIPU's affiliated colleges have management quota seats, which are generally reserved for students who are willing to pay higher fees. These seats are filled based on internal criteria, often bypassing the competitive entrance exam process. Donation/Capitation Fees: No donation is allowed 6. Final Tips: Timeline: Keep track of the timelines—applications open in March/April, exams are conducted in May/June, counseling begins in July/August, and classes start by September/October. Plan Early: Make sure to keep multiple backups in case you don't make it through the preferred entrance exam, as there are options like management quota.
There is sports first getting in the campus the college do persuade the students do take sports activity for the college there is no indoor games for the students as it is for the students learning there is no gym there is no swimming there is a small auditorium for the students for small gathering and small occasions only there is a library facility for all the students in the college for the self study and to get books and borrow them the campuses though big he does allowed the college students who keep the person bikes and vehicles but at a certain distance from from the college but in the campus itself there is food canteens for the students for them to get anything any from the canteen there is no medical centres for in the college for the student there is relatives do can come and look into the college as it's open for visitors at well but only after the college hours.Create the college do not have any nightlife situations there is no festivals there is no fes there are cultural event held by the colleges for the student entertainment as well as to raise points in the dead CV that is no plug activity is there is no other points to raise the students pointers in the CV there is no international emerging for student exchange program for the college at this college is not being as as other colleges
Course curriculum is very good and says moderate. Yes very rarely students fail. Good aspect is new and future oriented course which will surely beneficial but bad things is that some unnecessary subject is included. Pdf online offline smart board and projector. I admire one of my last year faculty respected Meenakshi Ahlawat ma'am. She is very senior knowledge strict related to studies and disciplined . On free time very friendly I really admire. Respected Vijay sir is good and knowledgeable but his teachings Technics are not good that's why I not admire him very much.
Course Curriculum is relatively moderate in difficulty, as the course curriculum is outdated (both blessing and a curse), asa result there are plenty of resources available online to study from, Good Aspects is that everything is standardized without any experimental courses, bad thing is that our uni is delusional about the IT industry & the tech stacks, there are 2 mids (sessionals) each semester, One final exam per each semester, usually in one year (except final) you can expect around 10-12 courses and 4-5 labs, Teaching Methodology is Reading PDF aloud in class or Scrolling PPT or in worst cases, scrolling screenshots of Recorded YouTube videos of someone else, Usually classes are from 10-4 PM with one hour lunch break, Elective class is at evening that is 4-5PM in odd semesters, they have also introduced NPTEL Swayam MOOC elective courses now tho, Yeah the attendance rule is tight at 75% for guys and 70% for girls (5% relaxation for period leaves), you can put a medical/ NSS thing and manage with 60% total attendance, however it varies from HoD to HoD and department to department, I have friends with 70% attendance from a department who weren't allowed to given exams to friends with 10% attendance who gave final exams and passed all subjects, so a broad generalisation can't be done
Sports facilities both indoor and outdoor with all equipments. Yes Gym with all facilities. No swiming pools Yes auditorium is good and library are open 24×7 with best easily accessible ways . Average area size of college campus one need at 2 days to fully cover all . Yes but with permission. Yes relatives can visit us for overnights . College provides staying facilities with a nominal charges. Yes there are many food joints. Yes college have medical center with qualified doctors.Good campus life student enjoy at campus after classes. No at very late very cafeteria opens and very few students. Yes locality is safe . Spring fest and Manchtantra are main event. Campus vibe are so at event. Major clubs IIC , Karobaar club & YCC I'm part of YCC club. IIC and Karobaar help in CVs Yes international exchange is there I prefer University of Australia.
There is an outdoor sports complex with a cricket ground, football area & basketball court, in the gyms there are Table tennis tables and in hostels there are badminton courts Yes college has one functional gym among all hostels, cardio equipment doesn't work, weights under 7.5kg are not available (as they were stolen) No swinning pool, There is a library with 50K books, but you can't study there, you will have to get books issued from there and study in seperate reading rooms in academic blocks, Most books are available. And there are 4 mini auditoriums (seating capacity of ~120) and another mini auditorium with capacity (200), this is a big shame for a university with over 7000 students in strength, College campus is 500 acres large, with most of it being vegetation, there are only 4 actual buildings where students study, the administrative block is around 3KM from hostelsmaking it a pain to go there, maybe 50 years from now uni will utilize the 500 acres, most people travel by taking lift and walk, there are only 2 e-rickshaws that run after the drivers are done with smoking hookah and playing cards, Yes you are allowed to keep your own vehicle in the campus Yes there are guest rooms in hostels where they can stay paying 400 INR/bed/day No there aren't any food joints Yes it has a medical center with testing facility, but they have limited facilities and they will overmedicate you for no reason, and they seem to give drip to everybody who goes there just for funNo night life, after 10:30 PM guards will chase you if they find you roaming in the campus, mostly evenings are spent by couples walking here & there, there is a place called Wifi park where most people sit, they either sit in cafeteria or plaza (a place between 4 hostels), there are no hangout spots as such except some restaurants outside the campus, the locality is fairly safe & free from crime, there is a college annual fest called spandan, where a haryanvi singer is invited to sing, only 400-500 students participate it in it and it isn't any good, Gajendar Phogat performed in it, There is only one Coding Club Officially from the university, other clubs also exist but only on paper, Nowadays Google Developer Groups & Coding Ninjas club is active and is growing, there is also another club called ByteCode learners, I think the google club is important, No foreign exchanges, people here think of Nepal as foreign
80 students are seated in my class (but my batch is an exceptional case as people with other quotas also had to be accomodated), but in BTech expect a batch size of 60-70, for other courses like MBA except sizes of 15-20, every year it changes and is updated on the uni website. The girls to boys ratio of B.Tech is around 1:15, and overall university it is around 1:4 My batch is again exceptional, as the open counseling was done in online mode hence it is diverse, but usually for remaining seats, locals fill up the open counseling seats due to logistic advantage, my Batch has 25% UP, 25% Bihar & Jharkhand, 25% Haryanvi, 4-5% Bengali and remaining from Telugu States. Peer group isn't the most productive except for a few, it's a very laid back life here, people care more about webseries that have gaali-galoch and politics more than what React 19 has to offer Yes 5 marks are given for attendance in internal 30 marks (that's why most people come) 95%+ attendance-5 90-95:4 85-90:3 80-85:2 75+:1 <70:0 Most students attend only for attendance, real learning happens in isolation before exams
