- Master of Science in Risk Management at the University of Nottingham is a 1-year program.
- It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.

- In the autumn and spring semesters, students will take 120 credits of taught modules. Each module typically consists of 10 two to three-hour sessions.
- Students will complete a 60-credit dissertation over the summer.
- The core modules of the program are:
- Research Methods for Risk Management
- Risk Analysis
- Risk and Society
- Corporate Risk
- Quantitative Risk Management
- Theory of Risk and Applications
- Each taught module will involve about 200 hours, including 160 study hours and 40 contact hours delivered through methods such as weekly two to 4-hour lectures and 2-hour seminars varying across each module.
- Assessment is by a mixture of methods such as independent and group coursework, take-home exams, and a final dissertation.
- The teaching is delivered by some of the brightest minds of faculty in their fields and shaped by the latest ground-breaking research.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a 2:1 or international equivalent degree in business studies, economics or management from a recognized university.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL or PTE to get admission in this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, usually in a relevant subject area. This should be equivalent to at least a UK ‘Upper Second Class (2:1)’ or ‘Lower Second Class (2:2)’ degree.
- Students from elite institutions will be required to obtain a minimum overall average of 7 / 10 or 60%. These are the college minimum scores and particular departments may seek grades at a higher level.
