I chose the Newcastle University because I kinda liked the Newcastle Upon Tyne city very much it is a small city and most importantly it is a student city so it is cheaper in terms of the other big cities and plus you get know the people all around the world and most importantly Newcastle is the best city for partying and clubbing having more that 365 clubs and pubs which is increasing year by year.
Course Curriculum
The course was very well taught and all the modules were of use, the faculty intend to provide us with the practical knowledge instead of bookish, case study’s were given in order to explain the concept behind.
Exams
In order to get into the university the criteria was very simple as no standardised tests were required in order to get into the university only an IELTS exam in order to prove that we know how to Read, Write and Listen English.
Placement
Newcastle University is a part of Russell Group of Institutions which is best education provider in UK, so the social relations and company visits were very high and frequent 90% of the graduates are working in big companies and are earning fairly well.
Internship
No I didn’t opt for any internships
Fees
So the total tuition fees was £24000 which is toughly 24 lakhs in INR plus i had a 30% scholarship with me.
Scholarship
Yes I did receive an scholarship which was 30% of the tuition fees, this was because of the grades which I have scored in my under graduation.
Faculty
The male female ratio was 1:1, the faculty was very friendly and was always ready to help us and get our doubts cleared no matter how many times you ask.
Campus Life
Campus like was fabulous we had everything inside the campus to get us entertained and help with our requirements including various kind of restaurants, bar, student well being center, print center, banks and play rooms to relax.
Hostel
I did not opt for university Accommodation instead I opted for a private apartment with friends in the city center next to all the amenities and supermarkets university was hardly 5-7 mins walking from my place all of this just for £300-350 per week including all the bills food expenses extra which was very cheap when compared to university accommodation or any other student accommodation.
