BA (Hons) Games Design course focuses on giving students a solid understanding of game development, the creative process, and the technical knowledge to realise it.
This degree explores the contemporary gaming industry across a broad range of experiences; from free-to-play puzzlers to the latest console blockbusters, the tabletop gaming industry to virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR).
The curriculum will give students practical experience of working in teams like they would in a games studio on creative and technical platforms.
There is also an emphasis on encouraging students to develop as a creative individual and to help students identify where their talents can be used as a game maker.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Students will normally be expected to possess five GCSEs (grade C/level 4 or above) or equivalent (including English) and also to hold at least one of the below or equivalent the UK or international qualifications.
