UHI Millennium Institute Admission Deadlines

Students are advised to submit their applications prior to the deadlines for them to be considered for admission.

Both undergraduate and graduate programs have similar deadlines.

UHI Millennium Institute International Student Admissions

International applicants are required to meet all the eligibility criteria as per the laws of the United Kingdom and UHI Millennium Institute. Students should have relevant qualifications as required by the course they are willing to apply.

The admission process for domestic and international students are both conducted online. However, international students have additional requirements and must be careful with their visa process so as to complete it in time. To avail scholarships on a priority basis, students must apply early.

Visa Process for International Students

  • Students are required to pay an enrolment deposit, following which they should submit their proof of financial support. The university upon receiving the required documents for validation shall issue a form to the applicant.
  • Applicants must provide the following documents to complete the Visa Application, which can be done by visiting the official government website https://www.gov.uk/tier-4-general-visa/overview:
    • Copy of passport
    • Proof of financial support (Affidavit and Bank Statement)
  • The form must be completed with accurate information
  • Students have to pay the visa fee (335 GBP) and print the receipt for the interview.
  • Applicants then need to apply for the study visa, submit the form and make the required payment.
  • Finally, students have to attend the scheduled interview at the suitable U.K. Embassy or Consulate.
  • General documents to take for the visa interview:
    • Passport (valid for at least six months ahead)
    • Original application Form
    • Health Insurance Cover
    • Official Admission Letter and completed Visa Application Form.

    • Proof of permanent address outside the U.K.

The university offers over 50 PG programs. The admission requirements for these programs are similar. Applicants can apply online through the course page. Each course has a different code and the applicants must ensure that they apply through the course page for ensuring the correct course code.

The University has a moderately selective admission process.
