- Biomedical Science is at the forefront of pioneering advances in medicine. In their leading-edge biomedical laboratory facility set in the heart of the historic campus, students will explore this vibrant field, joining their Biosciences group – rated 6th in the UK for overall student satisfaction by the Guardian League Table 2020.
- Student’s first year on the course will introduce the essentials of anatomy, physiology, cells, infection, immunity, biochemistry, microbiology, and genetics. While developing a grounding in these key topics, students will be well supported in their transition to studying Biomedical Science at university and be given personal access to the Fundamentals of Biomedical Science book series.
- This course is also offered full-time which can be completed in 3 years.

The 4th year of the course is the placement year where students can apply what they have learned on their degree to a real working environment.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
- Students are required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
- In addition, they also accept International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 26 points or Advanced Placement International Diploma with an average of Grade 3 or above for entry to undergraduate programs.
- A-Levels (or recognized equivalent qualification) must include at least one of the following subjects Biology, Human Biology, or Chemistry.
Indian Eligibility:
- Successful completion of Higher Secondary Certificate/Indian School Certificate/Standard XII with a minimum of 65% from CISCE and CBSE boards.
- To meet the University of Gloucestershire’s English language entry requirements, international students will need to have taken an English Proficiency test of IELTS/TOEFL or any equivalent test.
