Master [Advanced Practice (Non-Medical Prescribing)] From Cardiff University

This part-time Masters level course is designed to prepare nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, podiatrists and therapeutic radiographers to practise as independent prescribers, meeting standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and the Health & CareÊProfessions Council (HCPC).

The programme is a pathway through the MSc in Advanced Practice, enabling you to qualify as a non-medical prescriber alongside a programme of study that will develop your critical analysis and personal reflection skills. As well as preparing you for lifelong professional development, the MSc will provide you with the knowledge and skills for a career leading, managing and developing advanced practice roles and models of care delivery.
