Bachelor of Science [B.S] [Product Design] From Bangor University

The (Hons) Product Design degree is offered at the Bangor University. Throughout your three years at Bangor University you will participate in a wide range of modules, exploring various aspects of design from jewellery to textiles to electronics to manufacture methods as well as learning and implementing new professional skills and expertise. On top of this other design skills are developed including Computer Aided Design and Manufacture and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Our third year final project allows you to choose a project of your choice to develop from your initial idea and problem identification through to manufacturing a fully functioning prototype, as well as a business plan which would allow you to theoretically take your project to market. Our degree allows you to graduate with a diverse range of skills and experiences which you will be able to offer future employers.

By the end of this course you will be able to adapt and interact with a wide range of professional, industrial and creative environments, as the Product Design course will have taught you a wide range of skills, from time management to presentational skills, evolving you into a capable multi-disciplinary designer.
